The 20-year-old gunman who reportedly opened fire on Donald Trump took the rifle from his father on the day of the assassination attempt. Thomas Matthew Crooks allegedly used the AR-15-style rifle at the gun range multiple times before the rally shooting. Crooks’ father, Matthew Crooks, owned the firearm and let his son use it occasionally. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber breaks down whether Crooks’ dad will face charges similar to the Oxford school shooter’s parents.

Parents of Crooks was into doing lab work in the downstairs, and he had orders delivered all the time. Parents were not concerned because it was his fantasy — he spent much of his time doing things like that.
Another aspect of this; is that it was reported that the Trump shooters parents called law enforcement to report there son was acting weird and a weapon missing. So even with the off chance they did move to prosecute the parents in this case any respectable Judge would toss it. I say respectable because we all have seen some of the madness taking place over the last couple of years…
Something is so fishy about this. Both Corey and the "shooter" were the real targets. This is so staged. both the kid & the fireman chief–kid was pacing in a way that shows coercion by force, and paced in front with all tools needed—a ladder…. ? He paced in plain view .
authorities need to dig into his background to see who influenced and funded him.
Parents are 100 percent responsible for anything there kids do until the kids are 21years old.

He is a grown man! Why should charges be brought up against his parents? One of the problems with today's kids is they need to take responsibility for their actions! I know that Thomas was killed , but don't use his parents as a scape goat.
The parents are behaviour therapist both of them are ,you don't think they knew he was up to something come on fake your head out the sand !

The only issue is who owned the gun and was it foreseeable it could be taken without permission or stolen because of how it was cared for and contained.
They threw the parents of that Michigan shooter in jail… these people should be in jail too
20 yo adult shooter being portrayed as an 12 yo. This adult took a other adults firearm and killed someone.
When asked if he had any comment the shooters, father simply said “I gotta pee”.
This also happens to be a quote from the Forrest Gump movie when Forrest is receiving the Congressional Medal of Honor from Lyndon Johnson for being a hero.
Lyndon Johnson is widely believed to be behind the plot to assassinate Kennedy.
Is this quote by the shooter’s father meant to be part of a riddle and/or innuendo?

He was an adult. The parents are not liable. If he was a minor, yes.
It’s the secret service that did not do their job . I’m amazed that the secret service didn’t check the surrounding area ( buildings , streets, trees) . Secret service have not learned from past attempts of killing politicians.
It's odd that the shooter was only lees then 200 yards away and Trump faced him for at least 29 minutes, talking and pointing about nothing, except some Medic doing his job and the shooter missed that big target. Hmm AR 15's must have very small bullets. Or was it just a Hollywood special with blood capsule for Trump to make more money, lie he did with all of the other games he has been playing. They claim that there were 26 attempts on his life and everyone missed. Now I understand why brainwash America is so weak.
Problem is it was the dads gun not the sons what if the son never would've been able to purchase the gun on his own since he's nuts.
