46. Ok, the days of hiding your boo/friends from your parents are over. Someone commented this beautifully, it's not a control thing, it's a safety issue. Your parents don't want to "ruin" your life. They want to preserve it. The only way to do that is to cooperate and let them in on new relationships. It's not worth losing your life over having to have secret meet ups!

    Anyway, this is a sad lesson learned. My condolences to the families in these cases. I can't imagine the pain/torment they are going through.
