You guys arent the best,
JCS criminal psychology is way better.
Coming from a family of law enforcement, and being a Scorpio who was introduced into a haunted house at 2. I guess I was born into it. 😂
Like True Crime stories as they show you the real nature of humans but I don't like Horror movies/stories… they just really scare me, to the point where I can't sleep. But stories about crime & criminals is like a window into our dark selves.
I have a great interest in True Crimes, but NOT scary, or horror movies. True Crime stories offer an awareness of what kind of people are out there, and what they are capable of.
I look at true crime because I want to know what kind of trash
is helping destroy my country
that's the only reason 🥱🤑🤪🤡
I’m also a true crime and scary movie fan. Been watching scary movies since I was six. First traumatized them desensitized. I don’t know how to feel about that…
Not gonna lie Batman inspired me. Not the superhero aspect but more so the detective perspective
Bcs it turns me on
I have so many reasons I like scary movies & true crime as well. For very, VERY different reasons but there’s a bit of overlap. (Personally not big on the horror films that start to be/look very unrealistic as I’ve been known to start laughing. 🤷♀️. But the well done psychological/supernatural films – love them!)
There’s an evil side within everyone of us. By watching true crime I believe, we’re able to satisfy some dark thoughts and tendencies within ourselves.
Huh?! I love watching scary movies by myself. Ill even turn the lights off.
my fear is drug withdrowls in prision
mind you i am with drugs
5.56 all that popcorn is scary what a glutton
i wish horror films would scare me they just dont
I'm not "drawn" to it, I watch it because I want to see the world for what it really is and not be coddled by mainstream media.
all souls day eve is the time mankind reckons with the great reaping of men amongst the banal harmony with earth.
Never liked scary movies never found one scary. True crime have heard crazy things growing up in bits just adults talking so always wanted to know what to stay away from even though never been a ppl person. Now home invasion movie done right will instill fear in me
I love true crime channel I like to see how nuts people are 😂
As far as violent scary I don't like, I love ghosts 👻 and zombie and vintage cult films 🎥🍿🧟
I watch true crime stuff a lot, but I’ve drifted away from the horror genre because I don’t like the “surprise” aspect of it as I’ve aged… perhaps because now in my 80’s I know that there are enough life surprises that are horrible and I don’t want to experience it vicariously.
Watching true crime helps expose myself to the real world. Teaches me to be ready and notice things that victims may not have noticed when they were in the moment. It's taught me a lot about how to notice people lying and catch a narsaccist in action
I had a traumatic childhood- alcoholic and histrionic mother and a father with borderline personality disorder…. Lots off fighting, yelling and many beatings left their mark on me. I find horror movies relaxing. My dad scared me more than Dracula or Michael Myers.
I have always been drawn to true stories, documentaries but i have been drawn to Crime Stories since the 2011 brutal murder of my sister . I have become a people watcher when in crowds. You never know what a person is capable of doing.
Probably because I try to understand why… human behavior is such a failure. Scary movies aren't interesting unless there's a complex connect the dots. Blood and gore is just horrible, not unique, absolute proof we are just predators, still animals of evolution. We still eat like the predators we try not to be. Just like the single cell amoeba, we consume things around us. Then we try and figure out why we are attracted to death, torture and terror.
True crime for me – books documentaries or docu-series and sadly there's no lack of content
Horror movies etc annoy me in their fakeness and I have no patience for them
Yeah, the real reason because the dark lord is the god of this earth
I like horror movies and crime stories but not extreme gore.
I grew up reading Nancy Drew books and playing Where in the World is Carmen San Diego so I've always loved mysteries. I like watching True Crime shows and docs because its a form of getting to solve the mystery of the crime right along with the detectives. I hate scary movies though, I can't even watch certain movies previews without freaking out. 🧐🤔😨😟😆
I love true crime but scary movies are not my jam.
I'm drawn to TC because I'm fascinated by human psychology.
