Witness testimony continued Tuesday, April 18 in the triple murder trial against ‘doomsday cult’ mom Lori Vallow Daybell. Her surviving and eldest son, Colby Ryan, testified about how his mother changed after she met and married her fifth husband, Chad Daybell. Both Lori and Chad are accused of killing two of Lori’s children, Tylee Ryan and J.J. Vallow, along with Chad’s late wife, Tammy Daybell.

Like judge Boyce or not he’s pretty much covered all bases and left no room for error leading to any appeal attempts.. the entire trial he never shot down defense objections just because he felt like it or his opinion he was pretty thorough and used previous cases in the law books and had an consulting attorney on hand double checking facts and law books and history. Tbh I’ve never seen a more thorough judge before.

The more I listen to these people the more I realize how strange mormon religion life is compared to mine. I mean she says they talked on the phone about scriptures and getting to know each other and then they 1st held hands and kissed. But these people get married and divorced left and right.
Even though Zulema believed what she was being told by Chad and Lori, she didn’t commit murder like they did. Or the other horrible acts they were involved in.

I’m sorry but this defense lawyer is a little dense.. Zulema isnt the one thats on murder for JJ and Tylee. The more he asks about the teachings he is actually making everyone see how bad Lori and Chad are/were. Like they say this is cult mentality that made Zulema believe all the mumbojumbo. All i can say is keep asking the question Mr. Thomas you are just giving us all & jurors the details, the evidence is coming out dig deeper dude, we are now seeing the bigger picture on how screwed up Lori and Chad are.

Colby was criminally underused by the prosecution. How they didn't ask him more about Lori's behaviour, the manipulation and lies and all that is ridiculous.
Edit: Also, I don't think you should be getting the benefits from someone you killed, especially if he was in the process of filing for divorce and had made police reports about her being a threat.
My heart breaks for Kolby! Ok looking at the timeline I’m guessing the kids passed in mid Sept 22-29th, anyone know otherwise? That’s when Kolby asked for them so I’m assuming days to a or two week prior. Plus the photo on Lori’s phone of JJ Has the ME stated approximate time of death?
