I believe he is guilty however there’s things you mentioned that can be challenged. For instance even Cabelas sells antique 2nd hand guns. Often guns can be custom made and don’t necessarily have a “make and model” number but put that information with someone asking mundane questions when “your wife just accidentally shot herself”. However the fact that his defense didn’t have an excuse as to how she was shot to interject reasonable doubt. Did they call the mistress to testify about the steakhouse conversation?

I'm wondering how reliable the police officials were, I lived in India for six months, where pretty much everything runs on bribes, you can get around tickets, security guards, get and/or keep a job with a payout, and our driver there had a brother who was very excited when he got a job as a police officer, Because of all the extra "income" he could count on receiving I was hospitalized while there and they'd ask my DH to leave after visiting hours, until a local friend of ours had a chat w/security and paid him off, after that my DH was never asked to leave again. I realize it's an entirely different third-world country, but I believe the economies and employment situations are similar, so it makes me wonder if the officials there can be trusted completely [I've never been to Zambia or know anyone from there, so I may be completely off base here, though my BFF is from Ethiopia, and she says it's similar there
