  1. This analysis is flawed bias and frankly stupid. The officer attempted to explain himself and sean was argumentative. The officer never said tou cant record or tried to prevent any such activity all he did was state was dont approach my back its a officer safety hazard. Sean could have been an active threat. His argumebtative nature solidified the idea that he could have been a threat. Complying by taking a few steps back or circling around to the front of the officers so they could see him would have been better. if recording was all was seeking then complying and taking a few steps back would have been the right move. Not saying i was just walking on the sidewalk pretending he wasnt trying to film the encounter.

  2. Come on counselor! Really, really, really. Sean is a well known auditor who pushes the limits every time. Most of the time I agree with you, but this time you failed. All Reyes had to do was move where the officer could observe Reyes and his traffic stop simultaneously. The courts found him guilty and Reyes even issued am apology. Then you immediately give the officer a F grade, I totally disagree. Not saying the officer gets an A. But this time you definetly showed your bias. This coming from a 67 year old Marine Corps veteran that acctually defended the Constitution.

  3. This is ridiculous. That man approach that from behind and he just thinks that’s OK. It is ridiculous. How people are just allowed to do whatever they want nowadays just because they have a camera in their hands. It is ridiculous. We need to worry about our officers safety as well.

  4. The greater miscarriage is that Mr. Reyes rapidly folded under Judicial scrutiny and entered a Plea Deal 07/21/2021 that included a written apology on his behalf for his behavior on the traffic stop. If your principles are so easily vacated, what value do they truly have to you?

  5. Deputy caught lying? If you really want to shock us, provide BWC footage of a deputy who’s NOT lying!

They’re taught to lie to citizens as an investigative technique…so a deputy (really, any law enforcement) lying is a very common occurrence. This is why they can’t be trusted to provide testimony in court…they’ll lie to arrest you, lie in court to convict you and lie to protect their coworkers.

  6. The officer is clearly brain dead. How can a public sidewalk be off limits because a traffic stop is taking place near it? Are members of the public supposed to walk in the road to get past? Walk on private property to be futher away? Float?

No. The officer is a worthless tyrant and should be treated as such.

  7. The officer was completely right to tell him to back up. He didnt say he couldnt film, he said "back up please", "this is a traffic stop, you need to back up". The " auditor" got aggressive first, raising his voice and saying, "You dont know me," and "I dont care who you think you are". Notice how his attitude changed after the cuffs went on.

  8. I’m with the cop on this one. The auditor was arrogant and entitled. He only backpeddled after being placed under arrest. Why didnt he just back up? The cop obviously felt threatened. And why did he keep interrupting after saying he would listen?

  9. In the end, the law failed this man and he was forced to write an apology.
“ Mr. Reyes has since written his letter of apology wherein he now acknowledges that his actions were misguided, recognizes the important role law enforcement play when engaged in the course of their duties and understands the proper way to exercise his 1st amendment rights.”
The department said they would continue to arrest anyone who obstructs their interactions and commended Deputy Jackson.

  10. Man Sean is Hindering in this video. The cops had ever right to arrest him for filming then. Cause with Sean recording them, they are .out likely going to get bust trying to plant some drugs that can give them a win in the laws eyes. So I think I'd want Sean on me recording my traffic stop. Lol. Crooked cops give good cops a bad name.
