Detroit’s Lamarr Monson case (updates in description) – Everything Law and Order Blog

UPDATES: https://bit.ly/3wPUg0S
The murder of Christina Brown seemed to be sewn up: Cops had what they thought was the murder weapon, and they had their suspect, Lamarr Monson. They got his confession, which led to a conviction and a prison sentence of 30 to 50 years. For the Detroit police force back then, it’s a job well done — but they had the wrong man. 1. He was a junkie…. He did it…. You don’t sign a confession without looking. And why would he stick around? Because he’s a junkie

  2. If he was white would that black reporter have fought so hard? I think not. And let’s not forget people…. This broad is a junkie

  3. This happened b/c these white officers/detectives don't care about no blacks in the hood dead or alive. They just find a person to put it on and charge em.

  4. He did it! He was straight EVIL! And I bet he still is! He beat His girlfriends, sold drugs, and robbed people in that Whole Dexter Linwood area! The EPITOME OF SATAN💯

  5. Disguisting. We see worldwide how this work in some pd's in US. How disgracefull. Just terrible to someone , that should keep people safe, can prosecute innocemt man and leave real Killers to threath other kids and ppl? What this "great" America turn into?
Chasing people, that weren't guilty, to leave other criminals on the street. Beyond disguisting. More than beyond. I think that whole departments should be responsible. Destroy someone's life and leave the real killer, that is threath to whole comunitty, even worse…or other Kid's.

  6. The mother telling how she brought her son up to be an amazing man.
Eh, he had a TWELVE year old dealing craxk for him!
I'm not saying he murdered her!
But mothers only see their sons as Angels who can't do wrong. They are blind.

  7. I think LAW agreed he had to do 20 years for having the 12 yo sale crack for him even though he might not have killed her but he put her in harms way every day every hour every minute every second i dont know anyone to allow their 12 yo child to sale girl scout cookies alone its just dangerous my opinion

  8. To be honest I feel like if they have the wrong man behind person you should let him out and and the arrest real criminal and to make it even further to know that they are in the wrong charge the people that perfected the wrong person the prosecutor why not she knows she's wrong and she don't care

  9. Unfortunately Detroit PD coerced many people of colorr, particularly young people of color, living in impoverished communities to sign false statements and forced them to give false confessions of crimes they did not commit, to make it seem as if they are doing their jobs and bringing people to justice when they are wrongly accusing people of crimes they did not commit, ruining innocent people lives while criminals are still on the streets. Those innocent people deserve to be retried and those of the Detroit PD that have purposely done these things should be penalized! I hope this young man is exonerated and I hope justice is served one day.

  10. I use to love to watch these all the time but now. I don’t like the podcast format that you guys do I prefer this format of the stories.

  11. I was just about to comment “DAMMMMMMM HE’S HOT. He could have chosen any other path.” mind-blown that someone that looks that damn good could do something like that. Then I saw that he might not have done it after all. 🧐

  12. The black community has more unsolved crimes than any other, I am glad that Crime watch daily is finally focusing on them. Great Job.

  13. everyone taking about her selling ysll must have missed her poem about living in bando’s he legit was helping her the way he knew

  14. I am usually not the one that brings race to the mix, but it's irritating watching all this TCD videos how harsh the prison sentences are compare to other brothers and sisters with lighter color.
