Colt Gray, 14, is accused of murdering two students and two teachers at Apalachee High School in Widner, Georgia. His father, Colt Gray, also faces a number of charges for allowing his son access to the gun. Now, new details about the teen’s home life and his parents are coming to light through interviews with family members. I think the grandpa has got a great point. He WAS bullied. By his dang father! It seems obvious to me that the dad is an overbearing and aggressive alcoholic.

I agree the blame always falls on the parent but the police was just at this boys home and didn't do anything but take his word ,for one thing he's not going to admit that he said or even thought about doing something like this, the school should have been put on lockdown and Colt put in juvenile all guns removed from that home until properly investigated, we have had 6 or 7 schools threatened where I live since this happend. Prayers for the families who lost their loved ones , school staff and students that had to experience this awful tragedy 😢.

These women are saying that he should’ve gotten help, intense therapy, etc. But I’m going to assume that he didn’t have health insurance maybe if we made health insurance more accessible and available to everyone as it should a human right then maybe there would be a different outcome.
I’m just so effing sick of hearing people say we’ve got to do something. This has to stop blah blah blah same old story it’s not as simple as taking guns out of peoples hands.
14 is too young to give a child constructive control over a firearm. Even if you gifted them a gun and said it was "theirs", as a parent you obviously still wouldn't let them keep it in their room with ammo in it and all that. No child should be allowed unfettered access to a firearm unless they are on a hunting trip or at the shooting range. Again, just basic common sense that seems to be lost on these parents.

Governor Kemp is responsible for this tragedy as well. No minor should have access to weapons. Yes he is responsible to those deaths as well.
