  1. this is actually a good example of how bad the US justice system is, a simple google search shows many docs convicted in pill mills, NONE got multiple life sentences like this doc did, it makes no sense

  2. Im sick of the DEA spinning the narrative to convict innocent doctors. Im sick of the Im given to doctors who are actually practicing in good conscience. Go after the illegal pill pushers, start protecting innocent doctors!!!!!!

  3. I am in chronic pain. I found that the opioids actually cause more pain as it is leaving your system even after one pill. That is why they are so addictive. It's just better to rest and take aleve for your chronic pain. Now, there are certain times where you can't get around needing opioids, such as an accident or surgery or sever acute pain. But they should only be taken for a short period of time. You have to know that you will be in pain when it is going out of your system and you just have to suck it up.

  4. This conversation is crazy 🤪 bouncing around, but doesn’t this all lead to the drug companies and the FDA, and greed? And he’s just one that got caught.

  5. I don’t think that’s fair because one you know there are adults. They know what they’re putting in their body I mean. He should’ve been more careful about prescribing them and he should’ve watched how much and who he was prescribing him to but overall for their death their response for their own death because whether they get it from a doctor or they get it on the street which you all know they’re going to get it so why not make money out of why they’re doing it I mean, come on now be for real make people responsible for their selves.

  6. The Pharmaceutical companies and Doctors caused the addiction in the late 80s and all through the 90s then suddenly pulled pills from EVERYONE and now it is hard for those with real pain to get meds for chronic pain. I never trust ANY Doctor 100 percent and others should not either. During the crack down, many Doctors were arrested of course but were already extremely wealthy and some bought Judges to not do time. It is sad for those that really need the medication for pain. A Doctor in INDPLS wash caught ordering 80 thousand OXYCOTIN and he was selling to the COLTS I heard at the time but he never went to prison!!

  7. As they were watching him and he didn't stop because he got used to the money that he was generating from these clients and im not talking about legit patients im referring to the people that would turn around and sell them on the street

  8. If the ENTIRE chronic pain community disagrees with this author, as he admitted, then his research was flawed to begin with, and considering he cannot recognize that, he should’ve spent another decade on it.

  9. Real doctors and their chronic pain patients are being discriminated upon because of fake clinics, that should’ve been discovered easily! Now the chronic pain patients, doctors, caregivers, etc are being discriminated upon. Those without chronic pain have absolutely no idea what life is like on a daily basis.

  10. Chronic Pain patients are the ones suffering while those who have no concept whatsoever what that is like to live a life where quality of life is far more important than quantity of life, are making decisions on how they should live.
A chronic pain patient’s medication will not affect them the same as someone without chronic pain. This blatant ignorance is killing people!
The chronic pain community is taking the brunt of the blame for the drugs coming through the border!

  11. Big pharma companies should be held responsible and made to pay for every single American addict to go into detox and rehab centers, well in my opinion anyway
They caused the drug problem so they should bloody well dig deep into them pockets of theirs to sort the problem out
Their a major reason way America is going downhill

  12. Forcing people to do illegal things to get relief. All these folks that preach about pills, bad. People are weak minded. Until you are in this kind of pain, shut the fuck up!!!

  13. The funniest part is that now they are making millions prescribing drugs to ''fix'' the opioid crisis they created. Imagine that, these people took an oath to preserve life at all cost. Blah, money talks

  14. Govt needs to stay out of patient/doctor relationships. Now many who need strong pain meds cannot get them until they agree to hospice.
