It’s been over a week since a 20-year-old gunman attempted to assassinate Donald Trump during a campaign rally in Pennsylvania. Thomas Matthew Crooks took shots at the former President with an AR-15-style rifle, which appears to have been purchased by his father. Trump walked away with a minor injury, being shot in the ear once. Critics have questioned officials securing the rally that day, mainly the Secret Service. More details have been revealed about the shooter and the Secret Service’s oversights as federal investigators continue to probe the shooting.
