Chad Daybell, a man who said he could discern whether people’s spirits were “light or dark,” is accused of killing his first wife, as well as his second wife’s children. The bodies of Tylee Ryan, 16, and JJ Vallow, 7, were found on Daybell’s property in Idaho. Daybell’s new wife, Lori Vallow, was convicted in connection with the murders last year. I still can't determine if they were actually THAT decieved by doctrines of demons, or are active participants in satanism. Religion is poison
I don’t know why but I think the testimony from the insurance broker disturbed me more than anything we’ve heard. It just shows how much they were ready to move on, going about their lives, and doing regular adult things such as going to an insurance agent and attempting to benefit from the deaths of her children and his wife. It really makes it feel more real.
My SECOND career was a criminal defense attorney. My first was a US Army officer with 5 years, 8 months up-front combat time. As expected, my legal views cut straight to the point, and straight to the principles of jurisprudence on which things are based.
Chad Daybell, in actuality, had INVOLVEMENT in at least FOUR murders, not three. The fourth was the murder of Charles Vallow. However, there's probably a lack of conclusive evidence of his direct involvement. Thus, he's charged with Conspiracy to Commit Murder in Charles' murder.
Alex Cox, Lori's mentally disabled brother. The timing of his death is extremely alarming. I suspect that if future, in-depth medical examination is conducted, it will determine that he was murdered as well.
This entire, crazy, twisted, horrific circus is beyond belief for the rest of us. For folks my age, it's Manson-esqe; akin to Charles Manson's con-game indoctrination of his followers.

Why are they not investigating Alex’s timely death?
Do we know if there's many Mormon people on this jury or are they not allowed to ask those questions?
I'd love to see law & crime make a compilation of other cases similar to this where people create their own religion or bend their current religion to fit their monetary needs and their lustful wants. There's not many that come to mind but I'm sure there are some.
It's mind-boggling Chad Daybell believed he could conspire with mistress Lori to have her ex-con brother Alex Cox shoot his wife Tammy dead outside their family home – and he'd get to collect her $460,000 life insurance and re-marry weeks later, without getting arrested!
The husband is always prime suspect – especially if the wife dies by a violent means like shooting. Didn't it occur to these maniacs police might think it suspicious that Lori's husband was shot dead by Alex in July 2019, then Chad's wife was also shot dead in October of the same year? That's one helluva coincidence!
Poor Tammy, if only she'd known that failed shooting attempt by a mysterious masked man was a warning her life was in imminent danger. Not only did she accept Chad's explanation it was just a kooky local teen pranking her with a paintball gun (he played it down to keep her guard down), her first reaction when confronted by the gunman was to call for her husband's help. She had absolutely no idea her husband was behind her attempted murder.
Two weeks later, Chad and Alex succeeded in killing Tammy by a means that was initially ruled 'natural causes' and meant there was no murder investigation. Had Alex succeeded in shooting Tammy dead however, presumably arrests would have swiftly followed. Though that's not what happened when Alex murdered Charles Vallow – and no doubt the fact they'd apparently got away with Charles' shooting homicide, plus the murders of Lori's kids JJ and Tylee, meant Chad, Alex and Lori also assumed they were above the law, untouchable, and would get away with shooting Tammy dead too!
