  1. When the Police management themselves are copsplaining and trying to defend illegal arrests. It was obvious not one officer on the scene had any idea of the people rights and their management doesn't know either.

  2. This is why people hate the police. I was a cop in the 80s, and we never engaged in this type of behavior. We actually knew the law and what was right. I say we should call the police department and let them know that this is not the type of policing we want or need.

  3. Thanks, this happened to me but they left an arrest ticket on the doorstep and I have them on Roku. I asked them to leave from the window as soon as they arrived and they knocked on my window for 15 minutes before leaving an arrest ticket for disorderly conduct on my doorstep. I yelled for her to stop knocking on my window and I have it on camera. Thanks so much for your analysis and knowledge – I feel so much better knowing my rights and watching these fools break the law on camera.

  4. I think the curtilage should extend to the mailbox…..as you check your mail every day ….now some houses have mailboxes attached to them and i understand that…but where i live my mailbox is at the end of my driveway….as is the no trespassing sign.

  5. There's a big write up in today's San Francisco Chronicle. It's part 1 so I'm assuming there will be more information in the coming future.
It's about how police departments will do a clean record agreement with cops who are about to be fired for misconduct. The city, county, police department and sheriff department agree to hide the records of misconduct. The SF Chronicle and UC Berkeley had investigated this. With the agreements this is how cop get other jobs in other localities. The new employee may do their due diligence but they won't find any information. No doubt this likely goes on across the nation.

  6. My car got stolen in Raleigh county west Virginia i called the sheriff office first they ask for my license. Then they said, i have a no proof of insurance ticket then they said they was taking me to jell the judge over the video said thos isnt s a jellable offense i said then why am i in here that pissed the judge off and he said 1000 bond. They lost my paper work for the weekend plus two days. When i finaly got out i asked them if they found my car on the phone the smartass corrupt cop said you want to back to jell its not our job to find your car. I also lost my job.
