  1. Love that she became a part of this show…victims probably feel more comfortable talking to her,if they've been through the same thing…shes a strong ass woman..and those 3 survivors from that guy ariel Castro who held them for like what a decade? And all the other survivors of kidnapping,I commend you for your bravery, determination, and strength to relive the horror every time they talk about it..

  2. I like how she has taken what happened to her and turned it into a way of helping other people. I am also delighted that she was able to move on and have a normal life. She is married with 3 children, has a secure well paid job and works as an activist for the safety of children. . . Now THAT is the biggest "Fuck you" to her captors. Well done Elizabeth X X

  3. u can tell she's really numb person, not much feelings from here can't blame her tho, she's taken her story an has been running with it since, same with that other girl who's father was the Truck driver killer

  4. How can this woman be so well adjusted?? And yet people who’ve never known anything close to this much anguish are complete losers? I hope she is blessed beyond measure.

  5. I love how she teaches us all so many things from her turmoil and devastation. Such a strong strong woman. So glad to hear she's alive and her captors got caught.
So sad for other families that don't ever get this kind of "closure."

  6. She’s so clear and concise when she speaks. You can tell she’s strong in how she coped and has seemingly recovered. I can’t even imagine having to go through what she’s been through.

  7. Elizabeth I lived in Bluffdale Utah when this abduction took place. I cannot imagine what you went through with those two maniacs. The day you were found I cried like a baby. I think of you often and I'm so proud of you. Thanks for sharing your story. Robyn

  8. Everyone who disliked that video DESERVES her tragic past as their fate!!I am so proud of that girl and you are all heartless pice of shits disliking that girl's strenght! You can only take her as an example, but you are so blind and self concerned!

  9. Thank you to Elizabeth Smart for leading the way with her true beauty, strength, and confidence in showing women they can come back from a life altering experience. Elizabeth Smart has taken charge of her youthful unsolicited fame & she's done it so gracefully, while transforming into the young mother, wife, woman she is today. She has alot to offer and I look forward in her becoming a young pioneer in the crime fight. 💝 She's not a victim, she's a survivor!

  10. I was only about 8 when her story was all over the news. It scared me so much, because at that point in my life, I had never really thought about the possibility of being kidnapped.

She seems like she’s doing really well now! ❤️

  11. I grew up with her cousin. So crazy. We couldn’t believe it. She is SOOOO strong. And her cousin Michael never stops saying that. She’s the strongest woman we know.

  12. Such a humble, decent and dignified woman. Am so inspired by this amazing woman. From one of countless SLC mothers who prayed for your safe return. May God continue to bless you

  13. So many black girls are abducted and trafficked every day. I wish the nation cared about them. Elisabeth is very lucky to have survived.

  14. I couldn’t read her book, it is just so horrible to know the details. As a mother, I don’t know how you go on day after day. Elizabeth is amazing woman
