  1. Seeing as your video cause the company to sue him for damages, will you consider representing him? He is struggling to find legal counsel as his last lawyer pulled out.

  2. How can you say this has nothing to do with race? How do you know what the business owner and cops are thinking? I was treated the same way at my first job even though I was a manager, all the older white men STILL tested and messed with me everyday. Would run to HR if I said anything back to them. Would raise their voice and do what ever they could to try and get a reaction out of me, without a doubt if I had done ANYTHING they would have played the victim and called the cops.

They assumed a black man stole their item and did not have enough empathy to get to the bottom of what happened. Had it been a white guy they would have taken a second to try and understand what was going on. That goes for both the police and business owner.

  3. These officers aren’t qualified for their positions. The average person would have been historical after being “detained “, taken to the police station to be questioned and held for several hours. So tell me how we’re supposed to trust the police when they’re colluding with their buddies to ruin an innocent man’s life? To add insult to injury, that jerk Reyes told him he did him a solid. Let’s not kid ourselves and believe those officers are out there treating everyone else in Virginia Beach fairly.

  4. All cops are criminals. Change is coming. This crap will follow him for probably a couple years as other people see the charge or see his arrest record. Millions. Millions is what he needs.

  5. So wrongful termination, and wrongful arrest… the cop trying to down play it only to tell the employer that dude had THC pen and was trying to get him with that too (after knowing he had nothing on him). He most definitely should file a law suit on BOTH of them.

  6. I would not have been cool with the cops. I would have asked several questions and told them how wrong they were. I might not make a scene. I would not let them say they didn't arrest me when they most certainly did.
