Entire family nearly executed after a mysterious ring at the doorbell – Crimes and Consequences – Everything Law and Order Blog

In this episode of Crimes and Consequences: July 9, 2014, started off as a beautiful summer day in suburban Houston, Texas, before an unexpected visitor made a family’s final moments a living hell. The Stay Family consisted of seven people—Katie and Stephen (mom and dad, 33 and 39 respectively), and their five children, 15-year-old Cassidy, 13-year-old Bryan, 9-year-old Emily, 7-year-old Rebecca, and the baby of the family, 4-year-old Zachary. On this particular day, Katie and Stephen were out running errands and had left the children at home with the eldest, Cassidy at the helm. Cassidy and her brothers and sisters were just hanging around the house in Spring, TX when the doorbell rang. Cassidy answered and with that, Cassidy’s life, as well as those of her family would change forever.

  1. GOOD LORD. These podcasters are more sociopathic than Ronald. They’re talking about this like they ordered muffins and they are stale. Actually, they’re talking about this like they ordered muffins AND THE MUFFINS ARE GREAT. This is sooooo messed up.

This is the kind of thing that’s going to get good True Crime banned from YT. Wtf.

  2. Dear True Crime Daily , it really is okay to take down content after posting. This is so horrible and disrespectful but I guess you are enjoying the drama of the disparaging comments.

  3. Omg I was thinking the same thing about these 2 individuals!!! What a horrible horrible case and these two women are talking like uh 🙄 really that’s terrible but are not showing any kind of sympathy or nothing!!! I can’t believe there talking and acting the way they are, so disrespectful for this poor family that was taken out by a crazy psychopath!! So disappointed ☹️ in crime watch daily !! They need to fire these 2 individuals so disrespectful!!!!

  4. Wow! the lack of enpathy these two have. Timestamp 20:33 where the blonde literally has a smile on her face and the storyteller laughed outloud and made a joke about the muderer being grounded for tying up his mom🤦‍♀️.
They might not realize how bad this looks and perhaps this is how they process disturbing information… However, I would think during editing they would have cut any laughter and jokes when talking about a family being murdered, taunted, and threatened. Relatives and loved ones of the victims could be watching, abit more respect should applied in the future at the bare minimum they should do some self reflecting.
If only a few people had this opinion I would think okay people are being nit picky but the majority are coming to the same conclusion.
Prayers to all involved even the hosts of this channel.

  5. Thank you for telling this story. We need more protective laws with IPV and DV cases, this stuff happens over and over again. Anger issues are the surface emotion of a lot of other stuff. How did this man get a weapon? Those of us who think we do not know anyone who would do such things, check the DV stats in your area, we likely encounter them daily. This is tragic for the family and tough for the community.

  6. Ok people there are some AWESOME true crime channels out here on YouTube….so you use THESE INCOMPETENT UNPROFESSIONAL women? She can’t rad from a tablet ….neither has ANY storytelling capabilities…..let alone are good at it. What a waste of a show on here. Platform a BETTER podcast.

  7. I love these girls.. been listening for a long time. I love the way they bring humor, sarcasm (always aimed at the baddies!) They make me laugh, they're real and special! Between them and Crimes & Closets, I've got my stories sorted!!!

  8. I'm disappointed in true crime daily how could they let these pair of clowns cover such an important story I feel for the stay family these clowns should be ashamed and should apologize to the victims and victims family.
