the kid had a right to be pissed, but i think he is a bit of a dick to throw his girl under the bus, especially when it made for no difference either way, the car was def gonna be gone be4 he got there, and he had to know that so it's a shame the cops lost heart and didn't arrest him!!! cops still suck big time tho, there's no getting around this fact.
This cop is a creep.
In the county where i live.
You can be cited for "Junk vehicle's" in your yard.
If you intend on restoring the vehicle.
You can cover it with a tarp.
You must also keep air in the tires, in case you need to move it.
If the car is in a running condition, then it must be registered.
I had a van that i was working on. I kept air in the tires and it was still in good condition.
My neighbors kids broke one of my windows. So i put a piece of wood to cover the damages.
Next to it is my 68 pickup truck.
I have that under a tarp.
My tarp got damaged, i put a new one over it.
I must also keep my property clean of weeds. So i rake and clean my yard as often as possible.
A few years ago i was going to replace my shed. I moved everything onto a trailer and covered it up.
Because of the time frame involved, i gave my old shed to a friend plus one of my old tool boxes.
Then i had to clean up the space and order gravel for the new shed.
I got caught up with time for the new shed to arrive. I got a letter from the county to clean up the trailer and move it.
As usual. I did contact the county and was given time.
So my county does have laws.
One of the key items is. I live at the corner lot. So i cannot put up a higher fence with cladding to hid my junk😅😅.
A few weeks ago, my neighbor received a letter to haul off the junk in his yard. I don't know they saw the junk or if the county got into their yard to actually harass people.
If they were people of color, the outcome probably would’ve been different

Im a good guy for the most part but if someone towed my vehicles I would be upset and in my opinion I would be within my rights to be upset 😡 but not combative FYI i like in canada and the laws here in some cases is worse than Florida my family had to move out of town just to get away from the sociopathic nabers and the city police that almost arrested me while i was being attacked right in front of them the rookie was alright but his superior officer showed up and when my nabers went to him before he got to his fellow officer and said that i was going to be arrested thankfully the rookie was like NO your not because they were attacking him and his dad when i should up they were not fighting back and the father was only trying to protect his son and my body camera was on and at this point i got hit in the head with my own carjack handle and its not a small thing its rating is for a half tone truck and only then was i finally taken seriously btw i don't want to get into the whole story of how this all started in this text

The police were very professional and very patient.

I'm in the northeast and where I am you can have an unregistered vehicle on your property as long as it's covered. You can't just have one in the road though, and expect it to remain there for very long

Cop gets 15 to 25% kick back from towing company that's why he's pushing for the 1st tow to be done in a hurry. For each tow he get 15 to 25% that is why he is trying to tow all of the vehicles.

They were jerks, but cops making up rules, as usual. No reason for arrest. No reason not let her get the 2nd car off the road. Not a single car came by, while the police were blocking the public roadway, which they were so worried about being obstructed. Back up called for car tows & 1 scared girl.
