Ex-Cop Who Dropped Bombshell That Ended Alec Baldwin’s ‘Rust’ Trial Breaks Silence – Everything Law and Order Blog

Actor Alec Baldwin’s involuntary manslaughter trial ended in a mistrial last July after the judge determined the state withheld evidence from Baldwin that could have helped his defense. That evidence was a batch of rounds turned over to the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office by retired police officer Troy Teske. Law&Crime’s Angenette Levy talks with Teske about the evidence and why he believes “Rust” armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed should be set free in this episode of Crime Fix — a daily show covering the biggest stories in crime.

  1. She should not get a retrial. That was all because of her being negligent in her job. There's more than enough character witnesses to tell you the amount of problems they had out of her on set

  2. Prosecution helped Baldwin on purpose. Anyone who thinks otherwise just doesn't want their fake comfort bubble burst. 😂 So sick of being blatantly shown quacking ducks if you will then told they're actually zebras.

  3. Balwin should never have been charged he's an actor not an armorer the guns used are props for actors to use as directed by the director and are managed by the armorer, its not Balwins responsibilty for the guns on set

  4. Seth Kenny showed up on the Rust set on the day of the incident and asked if any brand name boxes of ammo were found. No one has ever said a word about the brand name boxes of PMC ammo that are in the evidence photos of Seth’s ammo room.

  5. I really don't trust this guy. The evidence he had should have been introduced way earlier. He could have watched the whole trial, knew all the evidence about types of the bullets and then magically produces the exact type (even though the ones on pictures earlier were different).
And EVEN if someone else planted real bullets, Hannah still did not do her job properly. She loaded them. She did not check them. This was her job.

  6. I believe the armorer who was convicted, Hannah, was set up and railroaded. I don't think she had anything to do with what happened and didn't foresee anyone tampering with their ammo stock. I think someone in that crew attempted to murder someone else present on that set, and Halyna actually was not the intended victim, although I couldn't say who was.

  7. Blah Blah Blah, WHY WAS LIVE AMMO ON THE SET? Are they trying now to convolute the crap out of it? None of this makes common sense to me. Make me understand and make it make sense……. and I hate that phrase.

  8. IMO… He only wants case dismissed against Hannah because of the close relationship with her Dad. Hannah was negligent and didn’t do her job. Someone died. She is guilty. ((Not to mention, this retired judge couldn’t remember the term ‘chain of custody’ when describing why a warrant for the bullets were to be issued))

  9. This whole thing is a clear lack of justice for that woman. Both Armorer and Baldwin are GUILTY. She's guilty of being careless and inexperienced, and on drugs. He is guilty of holding a firearm and knowing he would point it at another human being without double checking it, all because it's a movie and time is money. PERIOD. Don't want to hear any arguments otherwise. They are BOTH guilty. Nobody is saying that it was done on purpose. They had no intent to kill anyone, but they were negligent. Don't CARE if it was armorer's job to hand him a "cold gun". As a human being pointing a firearm at another human being, DOUBLE CHECK before pointing. Otherwise, use FAKE GUNS. We ALL know that movies are fantasy. Blood is fake. Cuts and bruises are fake. Why can't guns be fake?

  10. Any person handling a firearm should be trained in handling that firearm. If Baldwin couldn't check and determine for himself that the firearm had blank or live rounds than he shouldn't of been holding the gun. Baldwin should be found guilty of all charges. If this happened to anyone else, we'd be locked up after a speedy trial.

  11. Say what you will about Baldwin, I still do not understand how he was ever charged. He is an actor, was on set, and its the responsibility of the armorer to assure no live ammo ever makes it on the set. He is there to act. The armorer messed up. She is the one guilty of manslaughter just as an engineer would be if they allowed a blatant and reckless mistake to occur that killed someone in a bridge collapse. You don't blame the toll both guy for letting cars on the bridge.

  12. Basically there were bullets that should have been in the evidence and at the very least handed over to defence as possible evidence the prosecution had been offered. They filed it under a different case after examining the bullets and supposedly finding they didn't match the type used in the accident. Not only should they have given the defence the opportunity to decide that, along with the jury, it was also objectively wrong, the bullets did match. Sorry I just felt like they never explained it properly.

  13. Morrissey cannot be allowed to get a redo. When a judge declares a mistrial and a dismissal WITH PREJUDICE, that should be full and final. The end of the case. I know that might suck for the relatives of the victims, but Morrissey was instrumental in the commission of a Brady violation… FFS, she deliberately hid evidence from the defence… and even worse, she then lied about it on the stand, under oath!!! . Not only should she be disbarred, she should go to prison for perjury! You have to make the the punishment for prosecutorial misconduct so severe that it deters other crooked prosecutors from trying this. Anything less is simply unacceptable!

  14. Fredro Starr from the legendary rap group onyx did say that once you get done filming a shooting scene in a movie they take the gun from you that's why he said he was confused as to why that happened

  15. And finally, I’ve never understood how THIS caused a mistrial when it wasn’t about the ammo!! His trial was about whether he PULLED THE TRIGGER!! Not once was it said he loaded the gun or was responsible for the ammo on the set… so how did THIS cause a mistrial??!! (Other than the judge being on his side from the jump…)

  16. 19:36 Wait?? 🤨 "When it gets to her. It goes to the Prop(erty) Master first & then that’s when her TRAINING starts. Yea." So your daughter was an ARMORER IN TRAINING??!! Interesting… first time I’ve heard she was only IN TRAINING since this whole ordeal started. 🙄 She obviously needs MORE training but………
