1. A Theory that has never been considered :
   Premeditated Murder from Father
   A psychopath/Narcissist thinks differently then we do, so lets get in their mind
   A ransom note if written by John using his lett hand opposed to his right hand with the intention to trick police would be a slow tedious thing. Would take
   3-10 hours to come up with a storyline and compose it in a relaxed setting, while needing to start over a few times from multiple mistakes (think about it) it would be especially hard to write the actual night of the murder . Talk about being under the gun !
   What if John had been molesting the girl for months as autopy shows someone did.
   What if JonBenet threatened dad a few days before Christmas that she would tell mom if he didn't stop ?
   So now he has to beat her to the punch. Takes his time and composes a ransom note using his left had. Picks the day after Christmas when police are thin at best and banks are open to make his ransom note story fit. Now if the girl tells mom all beats are off obviously.
   What if John loaded Patsy up with pills at the Christmas party? After all Patsy was wearing the same clothes the next day
   Shes Knocked out all night !
   John commits the crime and stages the break-in with a clear game plan contrived from deep thought days early.

4. My Theory: Patsy passed out all night oblivious from alcohol and pills. (She sure had a history of pills in her interviews and remember she was wearing the same clothes the next day from night before) Burke sleeping all night as well !
   John wakes to the sound of Jon Benet eating pineapple the devil comes out and he takes her to the basement around 1 am. He plays with her as the situation escalates the girl screams and he clocks her with the flashlight which he needed in the basement. mean while the neighbors hear her yell. He uses Garrote in his rage. He wipes her private parts along with the flashlight to cover his tracks and stages break-in. Has all night to write ransom note. Police come at 6 am. The father is twitting his thumps instead of searching the house 10x like a normal Father. The police go in basement but miss room Jon Benet is in. Time goes by (6 hours) John considers the possibility of getting rid of the body if the police leave without discovering her but has plenty of time to release the house will be watched, very tempting but too risky! After being told to search the house by police, John bolts to the basement knowing he now has a alliby when contaminating the scene, thanks to the police. Another alliby was when John told the police he had broken the basement window a couple months prior because he supposedly locked himself out. A good cover for fingerprints or shoe prints or DNA by window. Plus if you know how easy it was to get in how come you did not secure that entry way personally! plus if you knew that window could be easy accessed then why was the kitchen door not locked leading from the basement?

   Something the struck me odd
   The suitcase had a piece of glass on it.
   That piece of glass had to fall 6 feet hit the hard top of the suitcase and by some miracle land on top with the intruder standing on it ? Nice touch John
   This was no kidnapping we all know that.
   The $118,000 on the ransom note was Johns way of having the police look in another direction.
   Funny: John never had the "Police" conduct a lie detector test.
   I throw the" cover up" theory out because if there was a accident to her head"normal" parents would not use a Garrote to finish because it's just too gruesome.

7. Amazes me boulder never brought a dog to track scent didn't get everyone out of the house let forensics mixed an ruined. Let a few or at least 2 that i read of off hook housekeeper hubby didnt give his DNA they never tracked down Nick Wolf rhey didnt test dog hairs found on JB clothing to suspect dogs. Boulder messed this case up an then to think chief an detective write books on an unsolved case they working on….IMO that's corruption.

8. I don't know who the killer is but I can say this with certainty: If the Ramseys lived in a trailer park they would have gone straight to prison.

11. I have a feeling someone or a group of people who work for the police dept there were involved in the murder and are the murderer(s). Why else would they refuse to look anywhere else besides the family even after DNA evidence proved it wasn’t any of the family? Why would they hide the fact that DNA cleared the family many years ago? Why did they ignore the open basement window? Why did they make sure the exact same detectives who investigated Jonbenet also investigated a little girl who she knew who lived 5 mins away from her who was sexually assaulted and almost murdered a few months after Jonbenet was? Why else do they refuse to look anywhere but the family and destroy or overlook any forensic evidence? Why’d they throw away the blanket Jonbenet was assaulted on and not test it for DNA?? It’s clear to me and idk why the family and all the interviewers and others involved in examining the forensics do not seem to suspect the police themselves. How often do we end up finding out police, politicians, teachers, people were told to trust are involved in child sex trafficking, rapes, abuses, etc? Wake up! Look into the police dept employees! Look into the detectives, the police officers, the chief and all who were involved in investigating that case and overlooked or covered up evidence! May justice come for Jonbenet, her family, and the friend of Jonbenet who was sexually assaulted, and anyone else they’ve hurt!! May it come swiftly!

13. Come on. These are stupid questions. This is where news anchors fail and become useless investigators. Instead of asking stupid questions? The news anchors should be postulating the answer to the only question worth asking. WHY would someone NOT get them tested?

    1. They didn't test it because they were told from someone, somewhere NOT to test it.
    2. Somebody KNOWS who did it and this case can't go any further with being tested.
    3. ETC. Fill in the Blacks.

    It should be noted that it was originally theorized having to do with a child sex ring of prominent people in the community. When it is an actual sex ring? They rarely kill kids and instead use the same kids –more than once, and many time they are drugged, taszed etc, so they don't remember and can't identify anyone. It was rumored that someone accidentally killed her in the process and that was a mistake. It wasn't meant to happen. This is back when the parents were fingered as the suspects. I always thought it was an interesting theory and it's more believable today, than it was in the 90's, as such rings do exist.

    Bottom line when they got the items at the lab and they didn't test it and then sent it back? Clearly, somebody accessed it at the lab, wiped it and cleared all the DNA from it. So, it's gone now anyways–whatever the true story was.

15. It makes no sense that a kidnapper would leave a ransom note demanding money for the child’s safe return when she wasn’t taken out of the house and then they murder her before the note is even discovered?

16. Whats the problem? seems very suspect to me, things not being tested makes no SENSE, the Boulder Police need to be accountable

17. The unidentified male DNA came from a factory worker that processed JonBenet's clothing, probably microscopic DNA but more importantly, no semen DNA. If there was an alleged sexual assault, there was none found. The injury was likely caused by Patsy Ramsay's paintbrushes. Someone had to write the ransom note, and it was written on a notepad that belonged to the family and the mother's art materials were in the basement. The garrote was made from a broken end of the paintbrushes and stun gun marks were found on the neck and back. The killer stunned her before making the final blow.

19. A grand jury spent 13 months looking at huge amounts of evidence and indicted John and Patsy. Don't forget this.

20. You should check your neighbors this person has been in your home more than one time probably when you were on vacation. This person has hidden in your home to listen to conversations and this person lives close to your home. And it has to be a neighbor one that perhaps visits this house for holidays or they live there ( father, son , grandfather,uncle , nephew.. look at your neighbors just because they are rich doesn’t mean they couldn’t be criminals..

21. DNA Genealogy could crack this case wide open!! I'm positive I'm not a pioneer with this suggestion, so WHAT ARE THEY (LE) AFRAID OF FINDING OUT?!?!

22. This case should have been solved! Its appalling what the Police did/didn't do… They were convinced that her brother did it and they were going to do everything they could to make the evidence fit their theory.
    They never looked into another case which had happened, not too far from the Ramsay's house, which was almost identical to what happened to Jon Benet.. its really REALLY sad that this hasnt been solved 😢

23. There are STILL people absolutely certain in their minds that the family did it. Won't consider the other evidence. What a travesty.

24. I talked to anonymous detective at Nearby precinct. The Bolder Cops got instantly angry after discovering that THEY had allowed the entire crime scene to be entered by almost 40 people ( Family & Friends ) So out of anger, they went after the Family. It’s insane the egos. They might have gotten evidence. Now they ignore it. We need change. There’s innocent people in prison including my uncle.

25. There's a company that has the new DNA technology and will test it for free. That should be enough to open a new investigation and case.
