Sorry, I get that his family is hurting, but nowhere do I see premeditation. You don’t premeditate murdering a 6’7” man with your bare fists. The only reason why Gary ended up dead was bcs he was attacked when he was laying on his back and didn’t have a chance to get up and defend himself.
Why was improper disposal of a corpse, obstruction, tampering with evidence, etc not additional charges for the jury to render a verdict on?? That could had turned the 11 year sentence into at least around 22 years if found guilty on all those b/c the emotional reaction doesn't play in on those factors!! The jury 100% failed this family & I guarantee Chandrika was warned many times prior that this would happen by John & she selfishly chose herself over the opportunity for those boys to have a present father so to me she is just as sick!
