It sounds to me like her family is just looking for something to be angry about and that's really odd considering you'd think the murder itself would be sufficient fuel for a lifetime's worth of anger. Furthermore, most murders aren't called anything. The press doesn't even bother to notice, let alone name them. At least Connie's case was deemed relevant enough to notice and name. Imagine being the family of a murder victim that was deemed irrelevant. Would they prefer that?
