This was a sad case!!
Her and her new boyfriend moved into his master bedroom. she was going to take his families home away from him. simply criminal rage took over. a 911 call in the first place could have saved lives. shame on the ladies.
Sharon here…. two thoughts I have…. first, had i come into my home in the condition it was in, the police would of been called first before any friends… second, I would have vacated the home to a neighbors and waited for the police to arrive. Another thing I have trouble with is why did the boyfriend run away, I would think he should have been concerned for all the ladies present! All this could have been avoided. So sorry for who were affected by this horrid affair.

I’m sorry but how does a dude that was in the Navy one of the toughest branches in the military just jump ship and abandon 3 women to fend for themselves… That’s sad. Any single woman, or women that live alone should always have a gun in the house, always! Especially if you have a crazy ex… can’t depend on anyone.

This sounds so much like when it gets to what goes on between a husband and wife should only be handled by professionals, If you go into the den you set yourself up to anything that could happen. Report abuse to the police if needed but do not go to the house of the victim ever .
The neighbour sending the photo of Lamar to him should be held responsible too, and why did Lamar run, he should have stayed and try to help the women.
She was wrong in inviting her two friends to her home because she was afraid of her husband. Didn't she realize she was putting them in jeopardy. And I wonder how her lover feels about running away and not staying to help protect the others? He might have been able to draw the husband's fire away from the other three while they escaped no or hid all of them in safer spots. Men have learned how to do this well because of childhood games, women never played.
Never in this story does it mention why he didn't kill Rachel but killed Lindy???? There is some missing puzzles pieces here. He had every opportunity to kill Rachel but didn't. Why?

He's a psychopath, and his mother was a psychopath also. His sister got on the stand and she said that he taught his kids how to swim, but then he killed their mother, and they won't be able to see her for the rest of their lives. They needed their mother. So I guess his sister didn't figure out that he didn't care about his kids welfare.

Instead of calling her friends, why didn’t Amanda call 911 first. Then if she still needed moral support she could call her friends. I believe that had she called 911 first, the chances of survival would have increased significantly.
