  1. He had his hand on his nect for such a short time, the guy didn't have time to react, but it's a big deal? It would probably never bewn brought up, but it's liberal nonsense.

  2. Jared is friends with the police chief so I wonder which competent person in city staff took decision of hiring him as investigator, who is not only unprofessional and biased but garbage of a guy. Ofcourse police chief was cleared of any wrong doing. Shame on him for conducting this interview at a pathetic level.

  4. Pretty minor stuff compared to what we’ve seen, putting his hand on his throat for a few seconds pushing a guy into a cop car while they’re shooting people of color.

  5. I feel like they should have asked for a written statement prior to this interview… because an IA interview, where they specifically said could impact his future in that department, and in no uncertain terms said could restrict him from promotions and assignments.. And now with that "threat", they're asking him to rethink about what he thinks he saw..

  6. Lucas, thank you for being one of the goods. The force needs men like you! I totally understand the many reasons why you did it but you sir are a brave soul!

  7. Hopefully he filed for unemployment and filed a lawsuit along the way for wrongful termination and conflict of interest, among other things.

  8. What the Sheriff is trying to do or whoever is doing the complaint hearing/investigation, is trying to find procedural errors in his filing a complaint or grievance within their policy. So what departments, especially police,Sheriff’s Office,Prison or county jails generally do, is to make their formal complaint procedures very complicated and confusing, so as to trip up the person complaining. Especially if the complaint has legal ramifications that could lead to the complainant being awarded monetary damages or other remedies that could have serious impact on the department being complained to or of. Courts will dismiss any lawsuits filed by the complainant if there is procedural errors in the exhaustion of admin remedies.

  9. Wow, usually this type of language is used against civilians who file a citizen’s complaint against police. Or as I have experienced, as an inmate who files a grievance against correctional staff. But to hear these indirect threats being used against a fellow officer by other officers who are trying to protect the officer, captain,or chief being named in a formal complaint by a officer in same department is surprising.

  10. For one, if it's "just an IA", why are you asking him to sign something that could be used as an official statement, then "the only way you get in trouble here is if you don't do what we ask you to do", that's a retaliation threat.
