  1. yes there more to do. Take the law into your own hands, Stop looking to government to save you, cause clearly they don't care. They got off and they family should get street justice on these people. Just like George Floyd murdered in broad daylight, Riots enact change.

  2. Like I’ve stated before, if you are unfit to care for yourself because of your mental state, drug abuse, or lack of self respect…..DONT HAVE CHILDREN. Should be a law for temporary reversible sterilisation. A period of at least 3 yrs to prove you have earned that blessing of having a child. As for CPS, YOU certainly could’ve done much, much more. God have mercy.

  3. Yeah so they fucked up badly, however, I do case work. And case work is damm hard. It's not for the faint of heart. Conflict resolution all day. Conflicts all day. It's tough, but for real, they really did the unforgivable. A lot of the characters did.

  4. They were all rewarded. Some were rehired, and the others got early retirement and are living a life of wealth off the tax payers back. This system purposely supports child abuse/murder. The social workers are active child abusers

  5. Missed the signs?!!!! That was their one job – to see the signs!!!! If we as a society or species don't defend those that don't have a voice what are we? Are we no better than animals that often eat their own young? What are the statutes of limitations for the case workers? I'm this close to making it my life's mission to become a lawyer in California just so I can sue each and everyone of these people civilly. Just Like OJ was convicted civilly because his actions contributed to the death of Nicole the same applies here. These case worker's negligence contributed to the death of this child. I'm so angry!!!!!!

  6. No it's a case by case. In this particular case, the social workers did not do their job. They were lazy and brushed things away. Their job is to protect. It's soooooo sad. All these damn people failed 1 child.

  7. They need to separate the child from the family and then interview the child without the parent around. The problem is that the child knows what will happen to him/herself if he said anything in their presence.

  8. It wasn't wrong to point blame in the direction of the social workers in this case and question their accountability. However, I think more needs to be said about 200+ caseloads. That's highly unreasonable for anyone. I think we need to question the system and if it's designed to work effectively. Are social services like child protective services being funded properly in order to make sure it works effectively? Was this a symptom of poor funding? Are they understaffed? I think this case can be used to highlight the accountability of all parties involved, and rightfully so, but to also shine a light on the system that failed this poor soul and why the system failed him (perhaps because of underfunding and overworked staff who are more likely to make mistakes in this case).

  9. I am having a hard time understanding how a bartender can be criminally charged for over serving a patron who then drives drunk and kills someone but not one of these four professionals, whose job is to protect children can't be held accountable.

  10. That is sickening that they let those social workers go. They failed that sweet little angel!! They could have saved him. The social workers need to be held accountable for not doing there job which them not doing there job mean suffering and or death to these poor children. I bet you throw a few of these scumbag sw in jail the others will start doing there job the right way!

  11. The social workers were lazy and most definitely adding to the problem. The fact that they were let go is just disgusting. The system is corrupt.

  12. They needed to receive SOME type of punishment. This child’s safety was put in all of their hands and they all failed?!? Pitiful. And it’s dismissed? Smh. They know they are guilty. Period.

  13. Just look at Gabriel’s mom and her boyfriend how can anybody believe any words coming out of their mouth , The social worker and the police all had failed Gabriel ,because on some of their visits they did not get to see Gabriel , their job is to check up on Gabriel‘s well-being but every time when they go over there The mom would said Gabriel is not available . No one ever follow up on it , The bottom line is that the social workers never done their job correctly ,they should be somewhat responsible for Gabriel’s death even though they did not kill him directly, anyone can look at the child with all the bruises and cigarette burns on his scalp with a bloody shaving job on his head and his body would be able to conclude that Gabriel has been been physically abused. Both mom and her boyfriend are psychos , he’s not a man because real men don’t beat a child to death and make them eat cat poop , I hope he gets fed cat poop every day in prison until he gets executed . Gabriel did not have to die if everyone had done their job ,the only person who had done her job is the teacher . This case has to be the worst child abuse case I have ever seen, I cried for days after I saw the show on Netflix and it still hurts me every time I think of him ,disbelieve that how can any human being do this to a innocent child . So so so sad 😞. I think Gabriel‘s mom and her boyfriend are the most evil parents on earth , they were using Gabriel for Social Security check ,you would think that they would take very good care of him, but no , they had to do the unthinkable, they know where they’re going after their 6 feet under. No more suffering for Gabriel because he’s in heaven now with God.

  14. Thats cuz they are part of the system where they dont prosecute a fellow employee. Its all about money and their own self publicity…

  15. God rest him in peace! God will provide justice we may or may not see. I dont understand why God allows these monsters to ruin peoples lives or not do their jobs when reports are made.

  16. Justice for children?? Lmao!! Here in Michigan all they care about is money and ruining peoples lives! They cause permanent damage not temporary…..

  17. The foster families get away with abuse and sexual molestation and its ok cuz their foster idiots… take care of your child and its against the law here in Michigan. God forbid you aint part of an organized religion or have family, you are discriminated against.

  18. They should have been charged!!! You wanna hear disturbing, come to Michigan you'll go insane!!! Still trying to find help and a lawyer….

  19. And this is why social workers don't do their jobs. And will continue NOT DOING THEIR JOB. Because they're never held accountable. Just like BAD police officers. Our justice system sucks in so many ways.

  20. With authority comes responsibility.if they are given the authority to make life decisions for children then they should be held respond if something happens to those children.this is ridiculous!

  21. Gabriel Fernandez is in a way better place. Poor beautiful baby… I'm sorry you were given that life… the only good thing to come out of your beautiful imprint is you shed light on something happening nationwide that needs to be stopped. We all need to work together to help end the hurting of children. Not just sexually but in every aspect… #SaveOurChildren #HelpEndChildAbuse

  22. They were just as to blame as the parents, it's so sad he wont get the full justice he deserves. RIP gabriel you are love all over the world. X

  23. I can not believe these CPS workers were not held accountable in anyway. This was the judicial systems chance to set the standard for any and all CPS workers held accountable and make it known to all they need to take that job EXTREMELY SERIOUS n know what the hell their job is 100% if they know their job n do it these things would not happen like this. It’s disgusting IMO.

  24. I don't think they took this serious the workers should have been charged they had one job to do and that was to protect Gabriel but instead they let him down smh may he rest in heaven this poor baby shouldn't have gone through the things he did

  25. There were way too many red flags – warnings – reports/statements given ( by teacher/neighbors/family members) to not charge ALL involved with his death. Their direct actions resulted in this little boy being murdered. Their job was to protect this child and they ALL failed. With the amount of injuries – cmon. this is heartbreaking…

  26. California is one of many states that benefits monetarily from Ward's of the State, whether adult or child.
This is why confidentiality is so air tight in this state. It really has nothing to do with protecting the child.
