17. The mother should be held accountable too. It was the responsibility of both parents to remove every gun in their home and hand them over to the police.

23. “Service of…protecting ‘our’ children.” Um your child is who they were protecting the children from. So it’s more accurate to say “your” children. Since “our” would imply your child needs protecting too. Without his actions no children would need protection in that case.

26. The police department was negligent in their threat assessment according to well known and widely available risk management procedures.

27. This is a failure of a threat assessment team, both in the school and the police department. It does not have to be the same level of proof as a criminal conviction.

29. Dad unstable + mom unstable = kid unstable, all should be in jail.

30. Some people should never ever have children !!! They destroy/neglect/abuse them and send them out into the world with innocent people. Glad parents are starting to be held accountable….. Maybe it'll make parents try harder
