Marcee Gray, the mother of accused school shooter Colt Gray, apologized to the victims, their families, and the community this week. The 14-year-old Apalachee High School student allegedly fired bullets from a semi automatic rifle into classrooms on September 4th. He faces murder charges, while his father faces charges of his own for allowing him access to firearms. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber has the latest developments.

"He was bullied." Seriously? Many kids are bullied and they don't go to these extremes. He had a sh***y home life but this is still no excuse to take people's lives.
If mom was less on the phone and more attentive to her child, lives may have been spared. Please, don’t…. She’s young and a modern woman.

Why be excited about killing animals ? And make it normal to have access to guns in the house ? Not many people in Australia have guns just laying around – we do not have school shootings- you guys are insane to allow this to happen, yet you are all shocked when it happens???

The mother should be held accountable too. It was the responsibility of both parents to remove every gun in their home and hand them over to the police.
Wow the poor kid had nothing but negative surrounding him and just had enough of BS in this world, you have unstable parents to deal with as well as multiple school that abused him as well, what did you all expect from just a kid 😭 when you feel like you’ve already lost in life, what is their left to cherish? “Service of…protecting ‘our’ children.” Um your child is who they were protecting the children from. So it’s more accurate to say “your” children. Since “our” would imply your child needs protecting too. Without his actions no children would need protection in that case.

What kind of parent buys ANY 14 year old an AR 15??? Much less a mentally unstable one? This kid was bullied AT HOME.
The police department was negligent in their threat assessment according to well known and widely available risk management procedures.
This is a failure of a threat assessment team, both in the school and the police department. It does not have to be the same level of proof as a criminal conviction.

Dad unstable + mom unstable = kid unstable, all should be in jail.
Some people should never ever have children !!! They destroy/neglect/abuse them and send them out into the world with innocent people. Glad parents are starting to be held accountable….. Maybe it'll make parents try harder
