  1. The fact you added the last remark is poignant. The bystanders stepped to insure the teens were safe ….. from the people who are supposed to protect and serve. Those officers show not only a lack of knowledge of the law, but an over blown ego against “punk kids who’d dare to question them”.

  2. This looks like a knock on effect when the community loses trust in their officers, the officers lose trust in their community. It just gets worse from there.

    If the officer was telling the truth and the manager or someone had specifically pointed the kids out then to me it just seems like an unfortunate situation, and if anything the manager is to blame for not clearing it up, again if the officers were telling the truth and the manager didn't want to.
