Dr. Steven Edgley, a brain injury expert, took the stand in Gwyneth Paltrow’s ski crash trial and testified that the collision did not appear to affect Terry Sanderson’s brain function. Paltrow’s attorney, Stephen Owens, walked Edgley through Sanderson’s history of health issues prior to the crash before discussing the tests done after the February 2016 incident. Edgley testified that the three neuro-psych tests done on Sanderson after the collision show average-to-superior brain function.

I am so proud to say that Dr. Edgley is my doctor! He has been my physician since I was admitted to the Craig H Neilsen Rehabilitation Hospital at the University of Utah in March, 2021, following my Ischemic stroke. Dr. Edgley is the Director of the Stroke Rehab program there (the #1 Stroke Rehab program in the U.S.) and is himself a stroke survivor. He is also a published author. His book is called "Thriving After Your Stroke," and he is not only an excellent doctor, but ihe’s also a very caring compassionate person. I am so grateful for Dr. Edgley and his example of strength and perseverence! Thank you, Doctor Edgley!
What the heck is the problem with this expert witness’ diction. I do not believe that having a brain injury qualifies or maintains anyone as a brain expert.

Bottom line, after the incident Paltrow and her ski instructor should not have left the poor man injured with broken ribs, etc laying in the snow! No human decency here. I don’t care if it is Paltrow(who is known to be not very nice and a difficult person) a normal person or The President of the United States! They should have got him help! This is negligence!With this poor man having pre-existing conditions, his injuries and healing time were a lot worse and took longer, BUT HE STILL GOT INJURED! Hopefully the ski instructor lost his job over this as well.
