I’m sorry Rebecca should’ve gotten sentenced. She was a victim at one time, but she actively participated and contributed to the death of Jennifer. That is not really “shock”, she was afraid of him sure but she willfully chose to not take action even though she knew it would be life saving if she did. Terrible case. RIP jennifer

For that first lady on the stand, it was her neice’s “struggles” with drugs, and loss of her SEVEN (thats insane) children…
In her mind, her neice’s drug problems started because her children were taken from her by the evil government… And after-all, who WOULDN’T turn to drugs after having your entire family taken from you…
Except, then you hear the lawyer’s very next question…
“And, why did CPS task-force take the kids, because of her addictions?”
“…… ……. …. Uhhhhh yes”

With life in prison comes solitary confinement, they will get only one hour of "outside time" then the rest of the twenty-three in a cell alone. Being alone with no one to interact with or anything to bring mental enrichment is the worst kind of punishment. They slowly loose touch with life, they are forgotten and it's out of their control.
I just found out about this case and I live about 30 minutes from here. I am sickened by this man and woman for doing this to the victim.
No excuses for any of them, the family and friends failed her by not noticing she was missimg for as long as she was. The pair of them need to be held accountable for what that poor girl went through. Drug addiction is hard. She needed help clearly. So many people to blame.

She lost her SEVEN children because of her drug addiction. I'd say, 7 kids later, …you have more than just a drug addiction. Murder is definitely wrong and evil, but so is not caring for your children that depend on you. Many people take that wake up call as an eye-opener and change their course to get their kids back, …if they really wanted them in the first place.
