Why did he allow her to go in by herself?? She was probably threatening her mother to lie!
The way April smiles and looks charming to the police officer is such a sociopath sign, eeks~
Who’s running that police department – the Keystone Cops?
This is the worst welfare check I've ever seen. This officer needs to be retrained.
I dont think he should have told the neighbor about why he was there. she was only accused thats almost slander right?
Why's the cop gossiping with the neighbor?
Wow- you interviewed the Mother right in front of the daughter and then told the daughter it was the mother who had called.
I remember when children services asked if my step dad was beating me right in front of him. Obviously I said no which is so sad bc I wanted out of that house so bad.
55 dogs! awful!
you are giving that woman info and is probably gonna retaliate on her poor mom
Pathetic police work as per usual.
Did anyone look into this cop!? Reporting to CPS and APS is anonymous!!!
Bad policing
It’s always little dog people
Where did this welfare check originate? The library? Guess mom can't go back there. Smh. How did the neighbors not report all that barking? I'm no expert but that sounded like too many dogs – in a suburban neighborhood, possible HOA, etc.
Horrible officer!!!!!
This scam of children or people claiming POA and dementia over elderly parents is far too common. We're dealing with our Aunt stealing 7K+ dollars a month from our grandfather claiming the same nonesense, and she doesn't even live in the same state as us.
They should have interviewed her away from her daughter. If her daughter is her abuser she's intimidating her just by sitting there and chiming in
The police officer is giving wayyy too much information over,to the neighbours,to th daughter, i bet the daughter never too her back to the library fter he disclosed that, cutting off her only means of getting help.
Red flags all around. Why would this cop ask them mom if issues are present in the home right in front of the daughter? Based on hearing that there is no access to a phone for April's mom is highly concerning. Then April answering for her mom another huge red flag.
WHY DO YOU ASK VICTIMS IN FRONT OF THEIR SUPPOSED ABUSER?
What is the cop doing? Surely he can’t be that inexperienced…You NEVER interview someone who may be in danger IN FRONT OF the accused.
You do not have to be a police officer to know you have to speak to someone on their OWN to find out what is wrong he is a complete loser!
When you are asking questions to the victim, your not supposed to do it with the possible suspect there, because the victim might be feel afraid to tell the truth. You're supposed to talk to them in private so they feel comfortable enough to say the things that they want to say or need to say
She may as well kiss her life good bye.
Just here to say that I took very good care of my grandma as she lived at my house but because we had a terrible relationship for a long time, she still looked in my eyes one day and asked why I was “so bad” to her.
The police officer shift know not to talk to the victim in front of the legend abuser. It's intimidation of the victim.
It’s like she was trying to become Cruella Deville, but she was only halfway there
55 dogs in one house on one property in a residential neighborhood 😮 wtf
I do understand and see where everybody is coming from in the comments about the officer questioning the elderly lady in front of her daughter, or possible abuser, but it might not be said in the video if it’s a case of the daughter has power of attorney over the mother, and she has to be present During questioning, just as if it was a police officer, questioning a minor, and the parents having to be present
“She got scammed for $5,000.”
Months earlier….
SALE SALE SALE TODAY ONLY!!!

How many dogs do you have again?!
“5….55….small little inside dogs. Do you have one you’re looking to donate?”
That officer never should handle another APS wellness check ever again. He very well could’ve gotten her hurt or worse.
Interviewing witness in front of alleged abuser
Giving information to neighbor
Snitching on how it was reported
Why is he asking the mom questions in front of the daughter? She’d be too scared to say anything. Wow, honestly, interrogation 101. Also, why is the cop telling the neighbor their private business? That's a privacy violation. How do you get an unbiased neighbor opinion when you lead your questions with that type of information?
The library though
He should’ve talked to the mom without the daughter. I bet she would’ve opened up to him bc she’s scared.
I am a born and raised Arizonan. In comparison to her neighbors' yards, hers speaks volumes. April is negligent.
fun fact, most if not all the dogs had special needs. she took away the dog's wheel chairs, deprived food, and even used different alias to adopt these dogs. i am disgusted as to how these charges were dropped. the 55 dogs are just the ones that were found! there are some missing to this day and rescue organizations suspect that there are more are being hoarded at another location. she posted her rescued husky all happy on social media, to be later discovered to be emaciated with mange. chandler police department is a real disappointment.

Wtf is the pathology behind “dog hoarding”?
