Twenty-seven-year-old Sunday school teacher Sasha Krause went missing from her Mennonite community in New Mexico in January 2020. One month later, a camper looking for firewood stumbled across her body in a remote wooded area in Arizona. Authorities had no leads until it was discovered that Krause’s cell phone pinged the same tower at the same time as another man, who became the prime suspect in her murder. 1. Oh good I googled it and his brother that was a hwy patrolman resigned after being put on administrative leave for the text about coughing on a Mennonite! He was already under investigation for a separate incident.

  2. I remember seeing this case and I find it absolutely appauling that a couple of adults
Find it funny to harrass people for their faith.
I don't follow the Catholic faith anymore. But I respect those who do. It seems extremely juvenile to pick on people like that. This young lady was a complete innocent not bothering anybody. This guy demonstrated such cowardice in his attack.
His brother looks so uncomfortable on the stand. Good.

    Hope he rots.

  3. What was the evidence that convicted him? Everything they said on here was circumstantial. Did they get ballistics from the gun etc. Lots of people own 22s. The phone linking him to the area is interesting but still circumstantial.

  4. I watched this trial as it unfolded. I was very touched by the witnesses and their love/respect of Sasha. The prosecution did a good job of telling the jury what happened to her and how her death impacted so many people. Sasha was a wonderful woman and I'm glad justice was served.

  5. We are a wash in technology and as such digital evidence often forms to a key piece of evidence in either prosecuting or exonerating someone. It has become a pillar of evidence as fingerprints and DNA have done in the past and continue to do. Currently phones and cameras make up a significant portion, however modern vehicles and appliances to join the fray.

  6. I appreciate this terrible story being told, and being able to see and hear people testifying, but I think some of the sound effects were unnecessary. The murder of an innocent young woman preparing to lead a Sunday school lesson is jarring enough without the gratuitous use of gunshot noise.

  7. Great video
Taking law & order criminal intent to whole new level.
Did they find a bullet/the bullet and did the ballistics match, that would've made this a slam dunk case, and wouldn't have given the defense something to say at their closing arguments.

  8. Great video!
I'm always intrigued by the details & efforts that investigators sort through for as long as it may take, to identify & arrest a criminal who had long thought that he had gotten away with it. And provide the prosecutors with all of the evidence they needed to bring it to trial and convict this killer. And he got what he deserved.👍
