‘I Can’t Ski Anymore’: Skier Testifies About Changes Since Ski Crash with Gwyneth Paltrow

Terry Sanderson testified about the changes he’s faced since he was involved in the 2016 ski collision with actress Gwyneth Paltrow on a Utah mountain. ‘I can’t ski anymore,” Sanderson said. “I was told that if I did and had another crash, that I could wind up full-time in a nursing home.”

  1. When ppl age they change n forget things etc. I go into a room n forget why. That started in my 20’s. I’m really not sure who hit who but you take risks when doing stuff like this. When playing football no one dies for running into them or basketball, etc. I do feel bad for him n his pain tho.

  2. Oh yes, my dad had dementia toward the end of his life. He was angry he was confused he fell a lot and this guy just sounds like he's got some form of dementia and he's just looking for payday. It all sounds like BS to me.

  3. If this accident would have been with a person who was not a celebrity, just an ordinary skier, I highly doubt this case would have gone to court.

  4. A lot of the issues he talks about having come with aging. I am experiencing many of the same issues and never thought I would be like this. I can't believe that he has waited seven years to file suit if he experienced these problems from the accident.

  5. He may have been advised not to ski due to POTENTIAL brain trauma he COULD POSSIBLY have in a sking incident but he is fully ambulatory, no physical disability in walking. He can walk by himself. Sorry but I don't gelieve him one bit. He even said he deliberatly told his doctors exaggerated details leading them to a potential misdiagnosis all because he wanted to get cash out of a major Hollywood a lister

  6. This accident happened in 2016. Of course, given his age his body is going to change, no one can be like they're in their teens, 20's ect. I do not find him creditable. "Sitting in an orange chair"? He should be sitting in an orange suit! He comes across like an evil leprechaun troll trying to steal someone's gold. What a piece-of-work. He is such a sad, little man. Sorry Gwyneth, I do like your acting skills, but I think the Award goes to this lying "leprechaun". And, on a side note, eat a little more dear lady! I know this is stressful, but treat yourself. This farce will rear it's ugly head and in your favor. Much Blessings to you.

  7. People in the early stages of dementia are angry at what is happening to them and sometimes look for someone or some occurrence to blame.

  8. Sanderson's dementia or Alzheimer's is not the result of a very minor concussion when he lost consciousness for 2 seconds after hitting Gwyneth.
