I would love the sewing machine. My grandmother had one like it and she made quilts for charity. I have fond memories of her making them.
Wonderful job but my question is why are you calling one cabin a fort. It was probably the main house inside of a fort
I want that couch! And I live close!
Get a blue roof
I just found this very interesting historical building video. I hope you continue to share more videos about such things that you stumble over in West Virginia.
YouTube didn't even put this in my queue.
I found it when looking for your older videos I had missed. 😁
Clean it off and stain it
Enjoyed the video. I’ve always been drawn to historic sites/artifacts, as are many people. Side legal note; Bobby and George have squatters rights to that property.
Some of the items you can’t identify, are soldiers dress uniform adornments , from continental officers uniform.
The apolettes metal clip
Well, looks like whitwashing history has more of a tradition in the States than previously thought.. 🧐
I wonder if there is any lead pieces in the outside of the logs ?
That is so awesome
Yeah man, this channel is awesome. You have a great ability to tell a good story? You are a lawyer right? Makes sense. Keep this coming!
Outstanding! Thank you for sharing!
This is incredible! I love historic finds and preservation work. What a gift to that community!
That's a gorgeous place! You are so lucky to of gotten it.
dear sir. the piece of brass you showed that is engraved from the relics appears to be the end of a fireplace bellow that brass end would be closest to the heat while blowing air from probably leather bellows ive repaired a couple, hope this helped.
Awesome video!!! Thanks for sharing.
Are you married??🫢🤗
Does the little stone balls maybe go to one of those little signal canons?
That’s incredible! Thank you for sharing
I can't believe you dont want to live there. You could save it until you retire. Its so tranquil out there.
Can't you contact a university that specializes in antique hardware, utensils and everything else you found. They would be able to accurately date it and also give you a estimate of its worth. In case you'd need to insure it or even sell it to a museum locally.
That veiw is beautiful! What a wonderful house to own and remodel. My dream most of y life
They probably used part of the cave for cold storage of some food
Wow thats so interesting.
Super cool!!! I totally geeked out on this video!!! What a great discovery
Thank you for sharing this. The building looks amazing and the history so interesting
Please Post an update❤
I'll bet things go bump in the night in that house….. soooooo much history, I'd love to go ghost hunting there!
Use a higher frame rate on your video camera or slow down your panning for better watchability.
Wow, man! That is truly an amazing find. Amazing work you've done. Great preservation and restoration with the house and all the artifacts. Awesome amazing work. As a carpenter myself, I really appreciate the work you've done. I really love your your videos concerning Constitutional Law, which I watch all your videos and am glad you posted this video.
I am also a cigar hobbyist and musicianand you seem like a pretty cool guy. It would be fun to chat, jam some old time tunes and smoke some cigars.
Blessings to you and please keep doing the great work you do.
That is so cool. I grew up in a farmhouse in NH built in 1784 – its the second house the original structure burnt – that was part of a King’s Grant farm.
