First time I see both cops and citizens get F's 😂I can't even say "No F's were given that day" coz it's true. 🤓
A public employee failing to identify on request shall be made a felony punishable with no less than 5 years federal prison time.
Heartbreaking that those cops got away with this . And no lawyer could've stepped forward to help .
Why is there a sovereign citizen disclaimer at the top of this video? What does sovereign citizen bs have to do with this encounter?
I would not give the citizens an F. They were not told about the pot smell so most of this crap was unlawful.
In my opinion many cops turn from public servants in to a street pirates , the lied they make unlawful charges they cover their unlawful actions and in top of that they retaliates if you want to stand for your rights or make a complaint right ?
Audit the audit promotes police tyranny
So if they arent required to tell us if they have RAS how do we know if we have to identify? How do we know if their going to lie and say they smell marijuana? If we know we did nothing wrong and know they cant force us to id because we did nothing wrong whats to say their going to lie and say they smell marijuana? They lie about smelling marijuana so frequently their known for it.
I don't know how I feel about this one. The cop was the typical tyrant. That said, the people had a terrible understanding of the law and their rights. This couple thought they were going to get some easy money, look at the man's expression while he was being removed from the vehicle, seemingly very gently as he hopped out with a big smile on his face. He had the same dopy smile as he was being put into the back of the unit.
That sheriff is EXACTLY the type of 'good ole boy' that wreaks of corruption and should get relieved of his duty as a law enforcement officer PERMANENTLY!
Countries that dont have complains made against cops is because these refuse to identify.
You wouldn't get my id bitvh
So… you have to obey lawful orders, but cops don't have to tell you anything, so there is no way to know if an order is lawful. That is a very convoluted legal system that essentially just means you always have to obey police.
The end of this video kind of insinuates you can only realistically get justice for yourself if you are legally educated and not emotional during these types of interactions. So the mentally ill never get justice? People having a bad day don't get justice? People who've never been taught about our legal system don't get justice? It's a ~realistic~ statement in the country we live in unfortunately, but I don't think we should be as harsh on citizens with these grades & our general opinions of their behaviors as we are on officers of the law who should be trained professionals and yet still participate in misconduct… Or we should be more clear that our grades are based on what we perceive to be a successful audit despite these interactions often not being audits conducted by auditors and the fact that police misconduct is still an extremely relevant factor in these interactions & their outcomes.
You are under no obligation to give ID if they smell marijuana and don’t tell you. You. Have a right to informed consent before making a decision whether the request is lawful or not.
In a situation like this how is an officer not supposed to verbalize what crime they are suspecting or the smell of weed.
He never smelled marijuana… he thought it up as an excuse to cover his misconduct later… POS
These cops are born liars corrupt
Pretty sure the only way a cop can remove a driver or passenger is for officer safety. Most cops can’t articulate the officer safety reasoning. Explain.
This is a known speed trap and since i have to drive through Henry county i will not say anything else.
This is what I don't understand; we have to abide by their "policy" even if they violate their rights.
Yet, they don't have to abide by their "policy". How is this even possible?
Stop being a redcoat or the people wll rise against you just like the past
Sheriff Maddox and Henry County Sheriff are Corrupt!
It's all about "Qualified Immunity"…! In the United States, qualified immunity is a legal principle of federal constitutional law that grants government officials performing discretionary (optional) functions immunity from lawsuits for
damages unless the plaintiff shows that the official violated "clearly established statutory or constitutional rights of which a reasonable person would have known." In other words…! It's a license to do whatever in the hell they want with know consequences…! The facts that they spent 3 days in jail, had to spend God knows what to get out & whatever fines & court cost incurred, had her vehicle inpounded & they refused to return it, they also refused to return their personal belongings & the most critical they got them both fired from their jobs. All of this & know consequences. I swear if I had the funds to help them, I would give them every penny because this is the most egregious crap I've ever seen…! I will pray for them & that they find an attorney that is willing to take the case "pro bono" & those lieing, thieving, corrupt pieces of garbage get exactly what they deserve…! Especially that chief…! I'm a firm believer in karma. I hear she's a real bit**…! Maybe there's a reason God is delaying justice in this case. Whatever it is, I will continue praying for them…! God bless & good luck…!!!
IM LOST FOR WORDS AGAIN!!!…..The F**KING INJUSTICE, so sad, ….love from Ireland 🇮🇪
Worst part is these cops will use this as reason to think they have the right to do things they don't have the right to do.
Fire the cop, sell his house and car, let him live on the street.
