Bodycam footage shows a Cincinnati police officer getting arrested for suspected DUI after refusing to take a breathalyzer test during a traffic stop on April 14. The Ohio State Highway Patrol said the responding trooper allegedly smelled alcohol in Justin Shields’ vehicle and on him, leading to a series of sobriety tests. Shields was arrested shortly after refusing to take a breathalyzer test and later pleaded not guilty to the charge.

You know I respect what these officers do but I am 68 and have a replacement knee and a very bad back. I could never pass these tests without drinking on my best day. There must be better ways

Honestly that guy is not too drunk to drive. He isn't slurring his speech, he performed all the tests properly. Yeah he stumbled one time barely while he's trying to walk a line in the dark looking at bright headlights under a lot of pressure. He's fine.

I can’t pass these tests sober. They seem designed to set people up to fail. My cousin is an MD and said cops should never be giving people neurological exams because they aren’t qualified.
