During the interview, Nikkie Brass recounted her encounter with Rex Heuermann, revealing that he “weirded her out” when he brought up the topic of the Long Island killings. Brass, who had been following the case closely, said that Heuermann’s comments and demeanor during their interaction left her deeply unsettled. She noted that his fascination with the murders and his peculiar mannerisms led her to believe that he was, in fact, the Gilgo Beach serial killer. Brass’s firsthand account provides a unique and disturbing perspective on the accused, raising questions about his potential involvement in the heinous crimes that have haunted Long Island for years. As the case against Rex Heuermann progresses, Nikkie Brass’s revelations add another layer to the complex and disturbing narrative surrounding the Gilgo Beach murders.

Why didnt she go to the police?!
I need her book!!!
14:43 for those who don’t know what “weird drink” she’s talking about, some bars have a system in place where you can “order” a specific drink at the bar (I’ve seen it called an Angel Shot, some places might also call it something else). But it’s not an actual drink, it’s really a code word to tell the bar you feel you’re in danger and you need the bars assistance to leave the bar/get home/call the police. If you order an Angel shot neat it means you need someone to walk you to your car. On ice means you need them to call an Uber or taxi. And with lime/with a twist means you need the bar to call the police.
she is 100% believable, so genuine and straightforward. smart too – her instincts saved her. and funny 🙂 "i don't drink alcohol… i don't know why that's such a surprising thing to people"
The lack of interest on the part of the police is mind-boggling!
By the grace of God, this woman is alive!
She seems on something during this particular interview. Realizing she met of with big Rex she probably needs it. On CNN interview she is much different in her wakefulness and speech
She spoke so respectfully about the victims and their humanity.
If he’s the gilgo beach serial k*ller then he’s guilty of a lot more than 3 murders.
Thank you Nikki. 💙💙
For those like me who were wondering why she sounds so different from her other interview, apparently she just had a baby and is extremely sleep deprived
The police haven't interviewed Nikkie Brass??
If not, why?
Say what you want about this chick but she seems pretty smart and extremely empathetic. It's amazing that she spoke up for the victims. What they did for a living does not concern me when they were viciously murdered by a monster. May they all rest in peace.
I’m so glad she listened to her instincts.
I absolutely believe every word.
💖🌸💖
Thank goodness she has strong instincts and intuition and the smarts to do what she needed to get the hell out of there. She was on his list the moment she agreed to meet him. I’m proud of her for talking about it to honor the victims that everyone else just refers to as prostitutes like they aren’t even human.
OMG LET'S ALL GET EXCITED OVER THIS EVIDENCE,,,
The lesson here is this: LISTEN TO YOUR GUT. DON'T IGNORE YOUR INSTINCTS. They are there for a reason.
Listen to your gut instinct! If you're wrong, that's fine, but at least you'll be alive!
This is very different from the original story that she told a few weeks ago. I'm sure he did it, but as far as her meeting him I don't believe it.
I BELIEVE her!! She’s now a mother that seems to have done well for herself since her days of being an escort in 2015, so she really has more to lose than to just gain 10 minutes of temporary fame by coming forward about her past!! That said, it’s such a heartbreaking SHAME that Suffolk County LE that conducted the initial investigations of these murders basically just wrote their murders off as a “risk of the business they were in” and never bothered to follow up on some good leads they were initially provided!! God BLESS all of those who formed the new multi-agency task force as their hard work and diligence will hopefully bring at least some sense of closure for the families and loved ones of these victims!!
What if Rex was in the midst of disposing a body and bumped into Shannan running through the thicket.
It’s giving Ana Nicole smith.
Somebody Helped this creep.. Salute To Nikki!
I wonder what the cops will find when they go sniffing around his back passage.
The rest of the house will hold many secrets too.
I believe her. I usually don’t believe people who pop up after an arrest but she seems credible and her reasons for not talking to cops make total sense.
She was his usual client for many years
Nikkie Brass you spoke well for the many women victims found and the ones still out there. Nikkie you spoke up well for yourself. Your gut feeling saved your future.
Great interview
That is absolutely terrifying stuff I'm so glad she got away. 🙏
Thank you
Why is she first coming forward now?
As weird as this sounds, most people who interact with a serial killer live to tell about it. It could be he was having a bout of remorse that day, or that she reminded him of someone he was fond of, or maybe he was coming down with a cold. I'm glad she lived through her interaction with him and that she's brave enough to tell about it.
So interesting. Has LE interviewed her yet?
He is going in for life!!!!😮😮😮😮
The dude thought he was smarter than anyone else in the room, scumbag still got caught.
I'm glad you took precautions Nikki and you're still here to talk about it.
This situation definitely reminds me of that survivor of the border patrol officer who murdered those women in texas. So crazy, I’m glad she was able to make it out.
I didnt know he said hammer! That was what he said in his interview with the french guy ! Thats horrifying!
11:51 this girl is the real deal!!
Nikkie Brass u are a strong woman I believe you an glad u got away an got to live t9 tell your story. ❤
I knew it!!! I bet Shannan came up on rex!!!
This girl have guardian angel beside her ❤
Some people are really harsh. She has said on TT that she takes psychiatric meds and has a slight speech impediment, but that she’s also sleep deprived from having a newborn and doing so many interviews. I guess some just like to assume the worst.
i think most men who wanted a "date" would have their partners out of town if they wanted to meet at their house
Very brave lady always trust your instincts
I wouldnt call it dating
