Bodycam footage shows an eight-year-old Ohio boy being arrested after he and another suspect were attempting to steal a white Kia. Officers ran on foot to chase the suspect and found him standing in front of a house with adults present. The boy claims a young teen made him drive the car by saying to officers, “he made me do it, he made me drive it.” Police ended up not filing charges on the 8-year-old and charged the young teen in connection with the theft.

  1. Im sorry but, yes what he did was wrong but now hes scared and that leo could have answered him. I hope and pray this taught the boy a lesson. Im actually scared for the kids today with things the way they are

  2. I would feel ashamed talking like that. There are plenty of people around you speaking a clear and elegant English. If I was born into that dialect, I would make an effort to speak properly. It's not hard. I mean, she sounds like a drunken chicken. Plus, this is Ohio, not Mobile, Alabama, there's no excuse.

  3. Edit: I read that a teen was involved as well, again there were consequences for both, even if the 8 yo didn't get charged, at least he knows what'll happen if he tries it again. But for the 11 yo in the UK, he was let off and nothing else was done, I don't even think the parents got in trouble for their kids actions even though he'd committed crimes in the past (the newspapers in the UK exaggerate about stories like this, the kid got let off and "bail" was dropped).
This 8 yo kid attempted to steal a car in US and gets arrested while in the UK not long ago, an 11yo stole a car and trailer, drove it on the M1 motorway with police in tow and just got a slap on the wrist for doing so…(he also was a gypsy traveller) At least kids learn what consequences are in US.

  4. Yes you wanna steal from people this is what happens….in Florida you would be going 6 feet under if you try that here
