   He’s taking notes or doodling probably to control his anger here and then after watching himself abuse Ronan he has the audacity to shake his head 🤯
   Very soon when judgement comes I wish someone would say to him
   “Ohhh your so tough” physically, emotionally and mentally abusing a child. Someone who is smaller than him and someone with whom he has the upper hand!!!

3. Dad and mom sip on water very often.. but the child was denied of drinking after lockdown.. after any food.. 🙄😳🤥🥲😡🤬

4. Bull crap! Defense lawyer.. bad is bad.. irresponsible is irresponsible.. neglect is neglect is horrible.. like I said before.. two wrongs don’t make one right!!!

5. If you think of it, it is strange to see the state prosecute a father for the same thing that the state itself does on continuous basis in the juvenile detention system.

6. The lead prosecutor has already proven to be well-versed in constantly raising objections.
   But doing so during closing arguments, with even sidebars (!) is unacceptable. The judge – whom has done an otherwise more than excellent job – should have stopped the objections during closing…

7. The boy is the one that deserves to be locked up, not the parents. He is a horrible person and has done some horrible things. He will be locked up at some point. They are just postponing the inevitable !!!

8. I’ve never seen a lawyer struggle with her closing arguments as much as this defense attorney. So many sustained objections!

12. The defense lawyer’s closing statement sink this excuse of a dad even further. Just think about it this way. If this child was treated in this manner by staff in a mental health facility the family would have sued such facility.

13. TO THE DEFENSE ATTORNEY IN CLOSING. YOU ARE ONLY MAKING THE PARENT'S LOOK SO MUCH WORSE, REASON BEING YOUR SHOWING HOW BAD THIS CHILDS PROBLEMS ARE, AND THEY DID NOT GET HIM THE PROPER HELP THAT THE CHILD NEEDED. YOUR DEFENSE IS ONLY MAKING THE PARENTS MORE NEGLECTFUL THAN WHAT WE HAVE ALREADY SEEN. AND BELIEVE ME YOU DON'T NEED TO MAKE THEM LOOK ANY WORSE, BUT THAT'S JUST WHAT YOU ARE DOING. HE SHOULD HAVE RECIEVED FULL TIME TREATMENT AND NOT ONLY A VISIT A COUPLE OF TIMES. BUT BECAUSE OF THESE TWO PEOPLE THIS YOUNG MAN SHOULD AND WILL BE MEDICATED FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE. IF YOU HAD BEEN LOVING PARENTS, I TRULY DON'T BELIEVE HE WOULD HAVE BEEN DOING THESE MISCHIEFS. I KNOW WITHOUT A DOUBT THIS COUPLE WAS ONLY WAITING UNTIL HE REACHED THE LEGAL AGE THEY WERE GOING TO DIVORCE HIM, or EMANCEPATED HIM FROM THE FAMILY, SO THEY WOULD NO LONGER HAVE TO DEAL WITH HIM ANY LONGER. THEY HAVE THEIR BLOOD RELATED CHILDREN, SO THEY NO LONGER WANTED HIM. AND THE CHILD KNEW IT BECAUSE I'M SURE HE HEARD IT DAILY. YOU ARE AN ATTORNEY, YOU SHOUlD KNOW HOW TO PUT ON A MUCH BETTER DEFENSE!!!!! GOOD LUCK IN YOUR FUTURE.

14. He talked to & treated the victim with such hatred & cruelty that I wonder if that man would’ve happy to find the boy dead in his room.

15. I just cant wait for sentencing day so hope the judge gives this child justice

17. This child obviously has some significant issues. But how does that justify the intentionally barbaric and demoralizing behavior of his father? "I have to keep you safe so I am gonna put you in a locked box with a bucket for a toilet, deny you your family, with hold food when you don't live up to my expectations, and threaten you physically when I am mad!" What a piece of it!!!! Absolutely criminal!

19. That father used foul and abusive language every video played and the kid responded meekly to it, probably out of fear.

28. Wow! The defense's closing was excellent. She ran circles around the prosecution here. It would be hard to find him guilty after that. She should have handled the whole case.

29. Everything the defense attorney said in favor of the acquittal was true. That was the best argument he gave all trial. It's a shame it wasn't enough.

30. Tell the clerk to stop swaying back and forth in her chair. This is a courtroom not her home. I’m surprised the judge allows her to keep doing it. Very annoying!!

31. Am I the only one that FF thru the defenses closing arguments? As soon as she said he was a bad parent. Really? He seemed to be a good parent to the other 3 kids. I think they wanted to break him then turn him into the house boy that does all the yard work.

32. That boy would’ve likely been glad to trade this life for a life in an actual prison. More humane.
