Imprisoned Son Trial — FL v Timothy Ferriter — Day Three

5. The defense has nothing to impeach this expert witness. He is really struggling…he looks so bad.

6. Is that woman with the short blondish hair sitting at the back behind the defendant his mother? She looks really grumpy and show an overall aggressive dememear….

11. In other words, we don’t have a strong defense so let’s attack the credibility of his credentials 😂 Timothy picked the wrong defense team…

13. This psychiatrist is clear… According to his reasoning, solitary confinement (or protective custody) of the florida penal system is inhumane, cruel and malicious. So the state itself is as guilty as the defendant….

14. Why aren’t they showing us the videos as well, just the audio – is it bc it’s a sensitive matter involving a child? Sorry, not that familiar with this sorts of things in American courts.

16. These “parents” act like playing a game is a bad thing.

    He’s a kid, right????

    They didn’t want him to have any joy in his life.

    They treat him like an inmate in every interaction. Always interrogating him.

    I feel sooooo bad for this child. His captors are cruel and sick.

17. The smartest thing the defense could have done here was not cross examine this guy. He is eating them alive.

19. Does anyone know why Tracy is being allowed in the courtroom with her lawyers and privy to the evidence the state has prior to her trial?

20. they treated their other children well….maybe. But, this child, the one who needed love and compassion recieved none. these people recieve a year for every single day this young man spent in that box.

21. I have so much contempt for these so-called parents and their lawyers, I wonder how defence council would feel if it were their kid.

23. You notice those people are very wealthy. They had two or three huge houses, they come with iPads and iPhones. If they really cared they could've just got a private tutor or a private behavior counsel.

24. I hate to say this, but I am not really impressed with his attorney. Mr Wahid seems to be winging it. He asks questions not related to the case. Says the doctor talked about things he didn't. I still think Mr Ferriter is guilty, but I question representation and their readiness for this trial.

27. I would love to know why these particular parents adopted this child? Why did they adopt? They had kids already. They dont seem equipped for children and lack empathy. Its a shame some adoption agencies dont check up on past kids they had

28. He looked like he was about to lock his defense counsel in the box during the cross of the brilliant, compassionate psychiatrist. 😅

29. The so called parents need to be put in jail as this treaent was unacceptable they treated this young boy like he was a slave not a loved member of the family period

30. All the defence does is make them repeat themselves over and over “correct?”

31. The way the parents don’t even show any remorse is infuriating to watch!

32. You think they'd be crying in shame watching themselves but no, they don't display any shame at all. I'll be they feel justified somehow, even righteous! The truth is, no matter what this kid did, he's still a kid and inmates in jail are treated with more respect than this. Shame on those two people who want to call themselves 'parents'

Tbh i doubt they have much love for any of their kids, their oldest daughter was crying describing how she thought “Tim” ironically neither she nor Ronan refer to them as Mum or Dad ( not that they deserve that title) was going to kill Ronan either on this occasion or at some point, the man behind Tim in court is visibly crying and upset, i am crying listening to this harrowing evidence from a young lady about a young man that i dont know and Tim is just sitting there, in-fact I have watched most of the case and neither him or his wife have some an ounce of emotion, the only reaction i saw was when he learned he was going to be incarcerated until his sentence hearing!!

34. Mom is just as guilty as Dad. She never took it upon herself 1 time to report this “prison cell” to anyone. She is squirming in her seat, whispering, and watching this damning evidence. You should be very worried Tracy because, you are next honey!

35. The psychiatrist is absolutely infuriating. He clearly has not worked with RAD kids. They glossed over it like it's nothing. Love is not enough for these kids. They spend all their time manipulating lying stealing and perfecting creating chaos and discord in the home. They have no empathy and they hurt animals and babies on purpose for no reason.

36. Why do folk around Tracy seem to be allowed to film the videos?

37. I cannot wait until sentencing. All during the trial Tim has not shown any remorse. Every day he has acted like he was completely justified in how he treated his son. I bet the judge is going to have a great speech before he gives him a very long sentence. And Tim deserves every bit of it.
