  1. The guy ruined his entire life and career. I understand depression and mental health issues, but when you put that badge on that shit takes a backseat, and you do your job admirably. If you can't do that, then you dont need to be in that profession.

  2. update in 2021, Officer Justin Augustine is no longer employed with the Piqua Police Department. He resigned from his position as a patrol officer on November 1, 2018, while an internal investigation was underway into the incident that occurred on October 27, 201812. Augustine faced legal consequences related to this incident, including charges of improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, operating a vehicle under the influence (OVI), and operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control1. He pleaded guilty to failure to maintain physical control and misdemeanor possessing a weapon while intoxicated, while other charges were dismissed1. His sentencing included fines, jail time, and community control1. Despite the legal proceedings, Augustine’s resignation serves as a reminder of the importance of responsible behavior, especially for those entrusted with public safety. 🚓🔐

  3. “ are you OK to drive brother”

Right after this person totals a police cruiser …

Thank you answered your own question there genius

  4. Everyone involved with getting the cop away from the scene, actually felony hit and run, and attempting to cover for him deserves to be fired, jailed, and forgotten about.

  5. With me 1st 4 minutes of the video — OK, turn around put your hands behind your back. He was gonna let him go home. Absolute utter shame on you. He deserves worse than an F maybe an F minus.

  6. THIS bullshit is one of the MANY reasons people hate cops. The rules simply don't apply to them. This prick got trashed, totaled a cruiser and the other guy is worried about saving his job. If I did the same with my concrete truck not only would I be fired but itd be reported to the clearinghouse and Id never be hired again. Cops behave this way because there are no consequences.

  7. If it was a civilian, he would have been in cuffs and brought to jail immediately.
I feel for the officer in some way, as he knew his days as a police officer at that police station were over. That must be devastating.
However, he should never have been drinking in the first place.

  8. What a dumb ass ! He could have called in sick at any time ! & he’s buddies would have covered his ass! Now he’s going to have to pay for the cop car on top of everything else! I hope he was one of the bad cops, but then he could have been a good cop that just cracked under the pressure!

  9. Officers are well known to have each others back especially if they are friends…but in a job, being a friend can also cost you your job and your life, it’s embarrassing that a supervisor had to tell him to charge him with a crime. If it were a regular citizen he would have been arrested and Changed on the spot, but you may also have to consider…does LT Byron act this way to all of his friends? Family? Despite being intoxicated…Officer Augustine KNEW he messed up! And despite being unprofessional and a huge danger…he was really ready in that state of mind to accept the consequences.

  10. ANOTHER ONE OF YOUR "HEROES"👎👎👎👎👺👺👺👺👹👹👹👹🤬🤬🤬🤬💀💀💀💀💩💩💩💩

  11. These cops are no different than anyone else. They come in intoxicated or atleast hungover all the time from the night before or like this guy admitted earlier that day.. if they would be honest and do their jobs the accident would have never happened.. how many officers did he pass by or talk to coming to work not to mention after he began his shift?

  12. Officer Byron should also be investigated by Internal Affairs, due to his actions, or non-action in this case because it was a fellow officer!

  13. So officers ON DUTY, are not subject to arrest and jail, and not even a citation, instead they are allowed to go home. Are citizens afforded the same opportunity?? NO!

  14. Dafuq… he cant even talk. He cant articulate words. Sleep it off? Ffff you. Arrest the mf as you would do with any person

  15. PTSD..DONT LET HIM DRIVE..TAKE HIM TO A HOSPITAL GET HELP FOR THE BROTHER..IVE SEEN SHIT IN MY LIFE TIME PEOPLE WOULD NEVER BELEAVE.STARTING AT AGE SIX ..DRUNK HIT US HEAD ON MOTHERS HEAD ROLLED IN THE BACK SEAT WITH ME AND MY SISTER..The List GOES ON WHEN I JOINED A PVT.MILITARY ..HELP THE BROTHER ..DONT RUIN HIS LIFE ..AFTER THE GOOD HE HAS DONE..FIX.HIM AND GIVE HIMBA CHANCE

  16. the dude cant even string a sentence together and the lieutenant just let's him walk off after totaling his cruiser & severely damaging another vehicle…..pathetic.

  17. Citizen pulled over for taillight: “Your eyes look red, step out of the vehicle and put your hands behind your back.”
This: “Go on and get home, I’m not writing you a citation.”
