Former Delta pilot Gabriel Schroeder was arrested in July 2019 after failing a toxicology test that proved he was highly intoxicated. Surveillance footage also showed Schroeder leave a crew screening line, dump a bottle of alcohol in the trash, then return back to line. He was scheduled to fly from Minnesota to San Diego before he was busted by airport police.

This probably wouldn’t happen if this country allowed people to smoke cannabis on their day off. Giving people the alcohol as the only option to decompress is literally breeding alcoholism
What’s interesting is that TSA allows crew to have as much liquids as they want…. So he could have left it in his bag and it wouldn’t have been an issue. He woulda walked through, and on his way he’d go…

This is no surprise to me as I worked for airlines for years. Your jaw would drop what goes on when plane takes off. Once the wheels are off the ground it’s fair game.
When the first plane hit on 9/11, I seriously thought it was a drunk pilot that crashed. Then plane 2 hit and I realized what it was.
