In September 2019, Jordan Buckley and Jaden Churchheus, both 16, killed a photographer who was shooting senior portraits at an Ohio park. The teens pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter after they admitted to pushing a 74-pound log off a cliff “to be funny” — that log crushed and killed 44-year-old Victoria Schafer, a mother of four young children.

What they have done was wrong, I don’t know the full facts in regards to that, but it is wrong to try to cover it up, they should have admitted their involvement , sad to see how dishonest they have been , this time they got lucky by getting away with this, YES A LADY GOT HER LIFE CUT SHORT BECAUSE OF THIS 2 SICK AND USELESS INDIVIDUALS.
Mother is disgusting
Both kids, slumped in there chairs, not sitting up , not showing care, or concern. No respect for another life or that of there own. Lady it was only a matter of time. I do feel bad for you, but both those kids look privileged and this is exactly what they need. They walked up to that edge with the intent to toss that log over o to someone period.
This is truly sad, neither of those boys cared less about what they did. The mother is sickening and explains everything. They will end up in prison, just hope they don't destroy too many lives on their way.
A strange choice to auto-delete or hide comments with the word that the kids plead guilty to. Considering this is a crime channel.

Note the body posture of BOTH of them during the interviews. It shows just how disinterested they both were in the interview proceedings.
Whilst the interviews are just a snapshot, there didn't appear to be any contrition or remorse from either of them. "Mummy" gave the impression that "her little darling would never do something like that". She showed more concern, rather than sympathy for a dead mother of four.

This is what is wrong with society. Parents are teaching their children that they are not accountable for there actions. That mother is evil. The sentences were a massive insult to Victoria's family. This world is upside down. We are doomed.

It was reported the boys dealt drugs at school and considered themselves part of a gang.
Miranda Spencer, 20, of Nelsonville, received a suspended 90-day jail sentence Tuesday after she pleaded guilty to obstructing official business, a misdemeanor offense. She initially was charged with a felony count of obstructing justice in the Sept. 2, 2019 death of Victoria Schafer at Hocking Hills State Park .
Let this be a lesson to you all. Lawyer up right away. Both these kids would have walked.

Neither of these boys nor the mother showed any remorse for the death of Victoria. They only cared about themselves taking zero responsibility. Both, more than willing to put their own friend in jail to save themselves. Can’t imagine what fine young men they will go on to be.
A real friend would have said their friend had nothing to do with it, not just cover their own arse and – by implication – incriminate their friend. These boys have much to learn about friendship. I do realise that's the least of their problems. And that mother, 'He's 16!' like that excuses killing someone.
