  1. The church authority should set up a procedure to deal with criminals, otherwise they will misuse the church as hiding place.

  2. Everyone thought it was a cover up and no one cared about a mex-american. The truth was yet another catholic cover up of deception and truth. I can't understand why the priesthood took so long to tell the police of the confession. He should have gone to jail too. He was just as guilty and corrupt hiding evidence of a murder.

  3. 👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹

  4. Sadly, I'm not surprised. You will find the sickest individuals at churches. I will not step foot in one. My heart hurts for Irene and her family. She did not deserve to die like that.

  5. Missouri Monk Dale Tacheny knew and got a promotion for covering it up. Father Joseph O’Brien from McAllen, TX knew because he sent Fiet to Tacheny.

  6. Feit only served 4 years and died. 2 clergyman of the Catholic Church knew for 50 years. They all will have to confess to God.

  7. Irene Garza came from a well-to-do family from McAllen and Edinburg. Most of her family were college educated and her De La Vina relatives were among the founding families of Edinburg, Texas. There's a De la Vina middle school named after them in Edinburg, Texas.

  8. I’m truly puzzled why this is coming up now. Really you creep? I guess you expected to take it to the grave with you. I’m glad his dirty laundry got aired out before he died. Rip Irene

  9. What a lousy investigation, a father in the Catholic Church, a suspect from the beginning and he goes free, because he is said to be man of God, what a dirty lie!!!! God said', call no man father, to make confession to a mad man calling himself a man of God, comes to show how false this church is. Many priests are found to be perverts
Put your trust in Christ alone, the savior , make your confession to Him, dont make any confessions to a so called priest, he may be a pervert fantasizing on you and your sins.
The Holy Spirit, make him your spiritual teacher, to lead you into all truth, is this not what God requires?

  10. I don't know who's worse – corrupt politicians we vote on, or members of a religious institution that its congregation should be able to trust. Shame on those who hide behind their status and power, and those who help cover up their mistakes for the sake of reputation.

  11. In the eyes 👀 of the church ⛪️ John Feit biggest crime wasn’t killing Irene Garza but leaving the church. It wasn’t until he wasn’t longer serving a priest that O’Brien and Tacheny came forward to testify against Feit. Also is alarming that the church even has a special place to “fix” pedophiles, to then be sent back to “serve” the church. Lastly Priest should be allow to have families, wives some sexual degenerations such as this one and many other can be avoided, and even tho is not justified under any circumstances I wonder how much sex deprivation place a role on this types of crimes.

  12. This is the first time I write what I am about to write and have told very few people but the look in Feitt's eyes is the look I see in all rapists and serial killers when caught.

  13. A life and death and quixotic and ironic event. A beauty princess meets a priest. A man's innate desire to mate meets a beautiful woman's conflicting feelings about desire and chastity. The priest sees a vulnerability and strikes. It's almost forgivable considering the vulnerabilities of human lust and desire. Just a sad case of circumstance. I pity victim and victimizer and I thank the powers of the universe I never had to meet such a temptress and innocent victim as Irene Garza nor a weak man such as Feit.

  14. Esse caso me emocionou muito. Essa família deu uma prova de amor . Não deixou de lutar por justiça. É como se estivessem segurando a pelas mãos mesmo em outro lugar . Muito emocionante.

  15. I can't believe he said it was back in 1960 why has it come up now well it doesn't matter how long ago the murder happened murder is murder its just a shame you won't live long enough to spend miserable years in prison

  16. All I can hope for at this point is poor Irene cleared her conscience at her last confession and went directly to Heaven with no stops between. I hope she is resting with the Lord.

  17. Disgusting!!!!! Jesus said a person would be known by their “fruitage” , actions. If the Bible doesn’t promote it, that is a false representative! The more people actually read the Bible, the more they’ll see all the frauds out here for the liars they are.

  18. What a piece of crap! To just think that because this crime happened so along ago that it shouldn’t matter now!!! I hope he rots in the after life!!

  19. She’s actually my great aunt and when I heard this i was shocked and every time I drive by that church Im disgusted. I’m just glad justice is served wished they did it while my great grandma was still alive 😢.

  20. The Roman Catholic Church is not a force for goodness or moral authority in the world. It should be ridiculed for its hypocrisy, maligned for its venality and cover-ups, and judged with contempt and hatred for all the sins that it has suborned or committed and for all the lives it has despoiled through abuse, child rape and murder (among other means) throughout the centuries. Any of its laity who let the church handle its own "disciplining" internally, of CRIMINAL MATTERS, are complicit in these acts, too. And that f**ker is more concerned that it had happened in 1960 than about the fact that he held a position of trust, in the clerisy, and not only sinned, but committed murder. I wish nothing less than eternal damnation upon this hideous man.

  21. This guy pretty much got away with murder. If convicted, he’ll probably will spend less than 5 years in prison before passing away naturally.
