  1. This is clearly a false arrest. Cops love obstruction, resisting, and disorderly conduct charges because they can use them to fit any scenario they please. Cop gets mad. Citizen gets arrested. The commission of an actual crime doesn't matter because the cops won't face any personal responsibility either way. The worst that'll happen is the cop gets fired, and, if he does, he'll just be hired by another department in a neighboring community. Easy peasy. Civil rights are as much a fairy tale as the tooth fairy.

  2. We need FEDERAL law that sets guidelines for ALL law enforcement agencies: 1) end qualified immunity, 2) it’s a FELONY to turn off your body cam, 3) a FELONY when you falsify police reports, 4) etc etc. And it’s the FBI who then is the charging agency against all those tyrants

  3. The truth hurts and dork 1 and dork 2 must show they have mini brains! One day when they're in an old age home and someone googles their names…could be an uncomfortable stay for sure. This is when karma catches up.

  4. We need an accountant to start translating these stops into $$$$. I do not pay taxes for this kind of police activity, so I would like to know what we just paid for all of these officers to harrass this man, per hour, per officer, for the duration of the event. Someone needs to start calculating this!

  5. I am saddened by this, since I live in Phx and work for local government. It's so frustrating too when I speak to others about these issues, and there is so little concern. Half a mile from my house, last year, PD shot and killed a man who was throwing rocks. Not boulders, not hand grenades. Landscaping little rocks. Their victim was mentally ill. They pulled up on him in their car, got out, yelled directions, he threw rocks, they shot him in cold blood. I believe there was no outcry because his family doesn't present a winnable narrative, meaning they are poor, outsiders, immigrants, powerless.

  6. So the video shows the cop pulling in front of the guy, blocking the guy's path with the side of his car, shows that the guy doesn't get in front of the car until the officer is walking towards him. So how is he obstructing by blocking the car? The cop literally could have kept driving but chose to stop his car, block the guy's path, get out of the car and walk towards the guy all with the purpose of starting something so he could arrest the guy. And cops wonder why most people don't trust them.

  7. This is the dumb ass mesa police department. I believe they’re under federal investigation. They are so rogue and off the path of legality. It’s not funny. It doesn’t surprise me that these dumbasses of Mesa Police Department did this DIRECTV is getting crap from them all the time they’ve even towed his car in front, his trailer in front of his house. And this cop because he has a badge and gun. I think it’s spewed out of his mouth as law.

  8. This is a perfect example these two officer's not only should face lawsuits but they also should face prosecution. They should be immediately fired jailed and prosecuted. There shouldn't be any exceptions or delays in the process. If the DA fails to proceed with charges he needs disbarred and arrested. Officer's need to be informed they are public servants first and foremost. Not revenue creaters not political servants, their jobs call for public service and public safety not to violate citizens rights because you think your above the citizens
