This whole saga is tragic and complex. Now, Wayne has died. I don't yet know exactly how, but he was found in his home by the police. Devastating, and he'll never get justice for his mother and family. RIP.

It's sad that they can't get justice for their mom and then lose their family's land to a corrupt county. I do know from experience in Texas so many of these small town county's are corrupt. I lost my dad's land that I grew up on (45 years) to his wife of only two years. I had the legal will and she submitted a forge will that a fraud document expert that worked at a sheriff office determined it was forged but it didn't matter. She was able to steal everything of my dad's from me. Texas doesn't care and the corrupt officials will help this individuals steal from the children. It's sad but these two children won't ever get justice. Anybody that lives in Texas that wants their possessions to go to their children make sure it goes to a TRUST made out to the ESTATE OF ….!!!

I wish the FBI would get involved in this case. It seems like there's some small town shadiness going on and this sheriff is potentially getting paid off by this oil company to stop this investigation from going any further. I live in Small-town USA and our last TWO sheriffs have been caught doing similar things and gotten in trouble. Smells like a conspiracy to me 🤷🏻

Im not sure how the reporters get away with such harassment. Running after cars banging on the Windows, walking onto private land and banging on doors, harassing calls, etc… 1 other thing is im not even sure why the constitution protects media.
