Cortlen Henry, aka YNW Bortlen, appeared in court Thursday for a hearing ahead of his double murder trial. Henry’s attorney asked the judge to allow the rapper to work and go to church while on house arrest. The judge swiftly denied the motion after the prosecutor noted that Bortlen has violated pretrial conditions in the past. YNW Bortlen is the co-defendant of Jamell Demons, aka YNW Melly, and will face a separate trial in October after Melly’s double murder case has concluded.

I believe the Prosecution Let Bortlen go home it's called going fishing you let one go home and keep the outer. Eventually the one that went home will turn states and receive conspiracy to murder and not the death sentence.
This is what happens when kids are having kids. They have no clue how to raise them. You just have to be lucky and enough sense to keep your kids away from bad people. I bet this dude would've had a good life if his parents gave him some sort of direction. Same goes for Demmons but in his case he may have a mental disorder and needs mental help , but since it's considered uncool to have a mental disability he wont say anything about that. I'm not saying he didn't know what he was doing and would get out of prison if he said something. I'm saying this wouldn't of happened in the first place if he or his peers realized he had mental issues and actually had him seek help. Lost talent over words, what a shame.
No it's not common knowledge. Not every rapper works from 10-6 in the morning in the studio . It's plenty of rappers that actually works in the day time n not wait till 10 at night

If he didn't plan on cooperating, I bet he is now since Melly's defense is trying to now sway the blame on Bortlen. Like people said, detectives aren't going to come out and say he's testifying he'd be dead the same day.

Id be shocked if he don’t testify. The police had to have told him he’s either gettin conspiracy charges, first degree, or tellin. So the choice should be obvious, who’s eating a charge for a guy who killed 2 of YALL boys😂 you didn’t even do it but if Melly did it he has to eat sumn serious for attempting to cover up a DOUBLE HOMICIDE.
