After reviewing the conviction and charges against him, New Jersey judge Guy Ryan sentenced Christopher Gregor to 25 years in prison. Gregor received 20 years for aggravated manslaughter and 5 years for endangering the welfare of a child. Corey Micciolo, Gregor’s son, died from blunt force trauma and lacerations to his heart and liver, according to autopsy reports Gregor must serve 85% of his sentence before being eligible for parole.

Disgusting sentence. Judge was totally flat in his pre sentence boring ramble. If only Judge Newman had presided over this trial then the address to the court would have been so human and he would have absolutely made it clear how horrific this MURDER was. So unfair to Corey’s heartbroken mother and wrong message to society.
This is sad and disappointing!! Justice wasn't served at all. Christopher got off very easy. The judge doing all this unnecessary talking like he was going to impose a sentence that reflected the crime.😢😢

For Corey’s mom’s SAFETY he should never be let out of prison. We all saw his hatred towards her.
He’s a sociopath at least. Sadly, this scenario is more common than people know. Our court system puts way too many kids in the hands of their abusive parent.
Our court system needs to become well educated on personality disorders, and protect people from these people. Maybe even get them psychological help while keeping victims safe. The fact that our court does not talk about personality disorders and diagnose people is insane.

This crime was truly a terrible thing, but I applaud the Judge for clearly explaining his reasoning in applying the laws for this man's sentence.

kid was 9 years old lol how does a 25 year sentence make sense, so the judge values the kids entire life being ended at a 34 year value including his age and he's only gotta serve 85% of that which is a 21 year sentence

The father, who is a former police officer, always saves his son's "face", now he will have to visit him in prison for 25 years.
