Jury selection is underway for the trial of Karen Read, the Massachusetts woman accused of driving drunk and hitting and killing her boyfriend, John O’Keefe, in January 2022. O’Keefe was a Boston Police officer and Read claims his fellow officers beat him to death and framed her. The case has caused deep divisions on social media with the “Free Karen Read” group warring with those who think Read is guilty. Law&Crime’s Angenette Levy outlines the case and moderates a debate between Read supporter Aidan “Turtleboy” Kearney and law student Grant Ellis Smith in this episode of Crime Fix — a daily show covering the biggest stories in crime.

I haven't followed this case too closely but the evidence is all extremely strange and alot of it doesn't match the prosecutions case.

This channel gave itself away showing text over the top of turtle boy contradicting his statements, attempting to prove karen's guilt. Doesn't matter how much evidence they find, if the evidence gatherers are conflicted, it should thrown out and reasonable doubt as to its authenticity and subsequently doubt that she killed him has entered the chat.

From what I've heard so far, the victim had no injuries on his body, and bites on his arm. You can't hit someone with a vehicle hard enough to kill someone, and not leave any bodily injuries
