Bodycam footage shows the former Texas A&M head coach being arrested for DUI at a Florida gas station in October. The arresting officer immediately recognized Kevin Sumlin after getting his name, “like the old ball coach from A&M?” The Hillsborough County Sherriff’s Office said Sumlin was arrested after performing sobriety tests and refusing to blow into a breathalyzer.

  1. Arizona fan here, I feel bad for Coach Sumlin. I think he was probably a solid coach, but clearly was/is dealing with some bad stuff in life. There were a lot of rumors around the AZ football program that he was having a really hard time. I hope that he gets help and makes a big comeback.

  2. Why is it censored after he's asked if he's dranken that night?! I feel like us viewers should have the right to know what this criminal has done to put the public in danger!

  3. Why don't you go ahead and give him a pedicure, Office Longhorn? I've seen videos of drug dealers get put into cars and don't get their socks taken off.

  4. Damn caught on a dui while recruiting now we see Johnny's enablers frm friends coaches even the head coach this is a wild fall of a coach 😳 😮

  5. Peyton Manning had 2 DUIs in college…no one even knew about it until after he left. Lmao. So did Joe Burrow….nothing. Coaches? Manny Diaz, Mike Gundy…etc…nothing…not 1 video. THIS IS TYPICAL.

  6. Is it a new policy to take off the mans shoes and socks? I've watched a lot of videos and haven't seen a single officer do that on the side of the road usually they do that at the jail.

  7. These guys make enough money. If they are in town or wherever to "entertain" and recruit they need a limousine or at the minimum a nice Uber. I'm sure their costs are comped because it's business. He made a mistake and I'm sure it will be his last of this type. He's a smart dude.

  8. Look! Several people have posted making this channel's owner aware that he did not mute the part of the video when Mr. Sumlin was giving his phone number to the officer, with many asking ths content creator to edit/amend the video muting the section when he is airing his phone number.

It's been three days and this channel owner has refused and even YouTube knows this is a violation and yet, the video remains?

I have reported this video for this action and if YouTube refuses to take action. I will contact Maryland's AD and advise they serve, both this channel's owner and YouTube with a cease and desist letter.

  9. Indicator of impairment, anyone notices that officers use the “smell of alcohol, and watery eyes” technique.

So wrong that they use to an advantage.

  10. Did yall really have to lock that man up though bro. You could've had someone come and get him. Seems like police are robots instead of human. If that was one of your family members you would have gave him a ride home or to the hotel

  11. First of all these tyrant Leo’s are lying about a call, get a F.O.I.A to see the lie. They are on private property and they are public employees who continue to violate the policy of being on private property!. Why don’t need media call this violation out. They are violating his rights he is not driving so this bogus arrest is bs!

  12. Listen, as a LEO, no one should drive impaired. But the fact he was parked in a spot, I would try my best to try and get him a safe ride home. People make mistakes, that’s not abnormal. The fact he complied and agreed to the tests. Have someone pick him up, toe the car. No need for all this lol
