Killer Who Stabbed Man 108 Times While High Says He Tricked Her – Everything Law and Order Blog

A California jury found Bryn Spejcher guilty of involuntary manslaughter for stabbing Chad O’Melia more than 100 times while in a “marijuana-induced psychosis.” A judge sentenced her to probation and community service. Spejcher is appealing her conviction, saying she was tricked by O’Melia into using incredibly high-potency cannabis. Law&Crime’s Jesse Weber discusses the conviction, the appeal, and Spejcher’s defense with forensic psychologist Dr. Apryl Alexander.

  1. I knew people who sniffed glue decades ago and not of them kill someone coz sniffing glue gets you out of your mind and here person on strong canabis stabs 108 times like mike myers and gets free card.

  2. She must have super narcissistic entitlement ugh .. she already got away with murder and only spent 6 days in jail and two years of probation… 🙄🙄 Next thing we know, she's going to try to sue the victims family for emotional distress…

  3. The justice system is a joke. My condolences to the family and friends. How is this different from drinking and killing someone.
How would she know what she took if she was all out of it I’m confused.

  4. So he 'pressured' her to smoke this 'highly potent mariquanna' when SHE asked for a 2nd hit, !!TYPICAL NEWBIE STONER MISTAKE BTW!! And she tweaked out probably due to a underlying mental health condition, you've gotta be a highly paranoid person to have a reaction like that. Regaurdless SHEEEE chose to take a 2nd hit. He didnt pressure her, he didn't force her, she obviously just didn't know HER OWN boundaries.

  5. She stabbed her own dog (wondering if it survived?)
She deserves jail time for the murder and animal abuse.
Appalling tells me that she thinks under the influence means no accountability. He may have offered or pressured her to smoke, but she still did it. Her actions.
