There are people who sleep under the trees in the area around the lake. The person who called may have been awakened and was trying to save him.

I think they are full of it. They never want to acknowledge its a serial. We aren't the only city to have riverways and whatnot. I'd be curious to see what other areas compare to Austin.

Plenty of serial killers kill for the thrill of watching someone die and it doesn't have to be directly at their hand. Worried they don't due their diligence and test for wvwrything and trace the victim's steps each night.

Plot twist. It might be a police officer involved in this and thats why the cover up. They might be trying to either build a case or catch them red handed. Either way some of the stories from the friends say they only had one drink leading to believe there’s a bartender that’s drugging patrons.
