Alec Baldwin’s attorneys are set to appear in court Monday for a hearing ahead of his July trial for the deadly shooting on the “Rust” movie set in 2021. Prosecutors seek a court order to force Baldwin’s armorer, Hannah Gutierrez, to testify in the famed actor’s trial. New Mexico special prosecutors then filed a motion to grant Gutierrez, a defense witness, use of immunity after she was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to 18 months in prison. A judge will rule on the issue after hearing motions from the prosecution and Baldwin’s defense. Baldwin was indicted on one count of involuntary manslaughter in January for the death of 42-year-old cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

I truly hate this prosecutor, I didn’t like her during the last trial for multiple reasons that I didn’t think could be worse until now when she says she didn’t send the report over to defense council as if it was no big deal. A young lady is sitting in prison possibly because of her not a big deal stupidity.

He pointed a gun at another person and pulled the trigger. Case closed ! I was always taught to check the gun before you do anything with it. Even if the person handing it to you says it's not loaded. That's just basic gun safety. If someone says it's loaded with a blank, it's your responsibility to double check that.
One might think the judge has a cruise booked for July 20th….I've only heard of limiting days of evidence on civil trials.

There is no justifiable reason why remediation of mechanical details is going to absolve Alec Baldwin of any wrongdoing he killed Elena Hutchins to the negligence and recklessness and he ran that Film Production like a little mini dictatorship and he cut too many corners and Miss Hutchins paint the price

The defence is B.S, why did the FBI destroy evidence? The FBI proved that it took a hammer to make the gun accidentally fire. Baldwin had to have pulled the trigger.
The defense lawyer telling the judge he's not identifying the documents he keeps randomly pulling up because he's not used to zoom hearings is ridiculous. He would never be allowed to do that in a court room. The prosecutor even asked him to identify a transcript previously and he refused to do so. What's even more ridiculous is that the judge didn't stop that behavior until the court reporter complained about it.

We know one thing, who really cares whether Alec is convicted except for his family and friends. I would be surprised if he's convicted.

This was a defective gun that went off without the trigger being pulled and there was a live round in it because the armorer brought live ammo to the set and Dave halls was negligent in checking the gun to make sure it was cold as well as Hannah. The only reason they are “gunning” for Alec is because he is the only one who has money. It’s unbelievable to me that they destroyed that gun, the key evidence!
